Cincinnati Roofing Services Introduce
When it comes to a home or business in Ohio, the roof is a critical component that protects the entire structure from the elements. For residents of Cincinnati, finding a reliable and professional roofing contractor is a top priority. A quality roofer should not only provide skilled workmanship but also demonstrate a commitment to customer safety, clear communication, and delivering on the promises made in a contract. This overview aims to provide a factual and informative look at Cincinnati Roofing Services, a company located in the heart of Cincinnati. By examining publicly available information, including customer feedback, we can help local users form a more complete picture of the company. Understanding the experiences of others is a key part of making an informed decision about who to trust with such a significant home improvement project. This article will present a structured look at the company's public profile, covering their location, services, and the key points of feedback that have been shared by real customers. It is intended to be a resource for locals seeking to learn more about this particular contractor before making a decision.
Based on customer reviews, the experiences with Cincinnati Roofing Services, also referred to as Waligorski Roofing by customers, appear to be highly varied and, in some cases, very concerning. Several reviews highlight serious issues related to project management, workmanship, and customer service. One customer described a frustrating experience with cleanup, noting that after being assured the yard would be clean, they and their wife found hundreds of nails scattered around the property. This is a significant safety concern, especially for homes with children or pets, and suggests a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for the safety of the client's home environment. The same customer also expressed frustration with a significant delay in the start of the work, noting that the company took approximately 14 days from the initial appointment to begin the project without providing timely updates. Another review details a much more serious and long-term problem. This customer reported a roof that was improperly installed, leading to severe leaks just one year after the work was completed. The review claims that the company, and specifically the owner Tom, failed to install a proper ice shield and new flashing as per the contract, resulting in ongoing water damage, mold, and the need for frequent drywall and paint replacements. The customer also stated that the roof had no proper ventilation, shingles were lifting, and nails were exposed. Despite being under warranty, the customer claims the company was unresponsive, and the issues were never resolved. This customer ultimately had to pay another company to fix the roof correctly, and a complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau. These accounts suggest that while some aspects of the business may have been initially presented as professional, the follow-through, quality of work, and customer support fell well short of expectations, raising serious questions about the company's reliability and integrity. These experiences are offered to provide a comprehensive picture of what potential clients might encounter.
Cincinnati Roofing Services is listed at the address 2185 Gilbert Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45206, USA. This location places the company in a central part of Cincinnati, a detail that might initially suggest a convenient and accessible local service provider. For residents, a physical address is often a key factor in building trust with a contractor. It provides a tangible point of contact and suggests a business with a long-term presence in the community. However, based on the provided customer feedback, a local address alone does not guarantee a high level of service or reliability. While the location itself is easily accessible, the reviews do not offer insight into how the company’s physical location translates into positive customer experience. The reviews focus more on the quality of the on-site work and the communication, rather than on the convenience of the office location. The central address in Cincinnati allows them to serve the entire metropolitan area and surrounding neighborhoods, but the accessibility for services is noted to be inconsistent, with one customer reporting significant delays in starting the work. Therefore, while the address indicates a local presence, it is important for potential clients to consider this information in the context of the overall customer experiences that have been shared.
Services Offered by Cincinnati Roofing Services:
- Roof Repair and Replacement: Based on the customer reviews, the company performs roof replacement, including the tear-off of old materials and the installation of new shingles. The reviews also mention services like the installation of ice shields and flashing, though customers claim these were not done correctly or at all.
- Underlayment and Board Replacement: One customer stated they paid for underlayment and bad boards to be replaced, but claims this work was never performed, suggesting that these services are part of their offerings, albeit with issues in execution.
- Inspections and Estimates: A customer review mentions an "initial appointment" and "inspector," which implies that the company offers inspections to assess the state of a roof and provides estimates for the necessary work.
- Communication and Project Management: The reviews indicate that the company handles project communication and scheduling, although customers reported significant issues with delays and a lack of updates.
Features and Highlights of Cincinnati Roofing Services:
- No positive features or highlights can be factually extracted from the provided customer reviews. The reviews focus on a range of negative experiences and a lack of professional standards.
- Significant delays in project start times, with one customer reporting a 14-day delay from the initial appointment to the start of the work.
- Lack of thorough cleanup, with multiple customers finding a dangerous amount of nails and debris left in their yards after the crew had left for the day.
- Allegations of shoddy workmanship, including a customer claiming the roof was installed incorrectly, with no proper ventilation, exposed nails, and shingles lifting up.
- Claims of breach of contract, with a customer alleging that paid-for services, such as a proper ice shield and new flashing, were never performed.
- Poor customer communication, with the owner allegedly being unresponsive to calls and emails regarding ongoing issues with a leaking roof.
- An allegation of dishonesty, with a customer claiming the company lied to the Better Business Bureau about corresponding with their insurance company.

For residents of Ohio, especially in the Cincinnati area, making an informed decision about a roofing contractor is vital for the safety and security of their home. Based on the provided public reviews, Cincinnati Roofing Services has received significant criticism regarding the quality of their work, project management, and customer service. The reviews describe a pattern of unfulfilled promises, dangerous work site conditions, and poor communication that left customers with long-term problems and a feeling of being misled. For a local user, these detailed accounts of negative experiences, including allegations of shoddy workmanship and a breach of contract, serve as a strong cautionary note. While a company's location in Cincinnati might suggest convenience, the feedback indicates that the service provided did not meet professional standards or the expectations of the clients. Therefore, based on this information, the company's suitability for locals is highly questionable. It is crucial for anyone considering this company for their roofing needs to take these serious concerns into account and to conduct thorough due diligence, including seeking multiple bids and checking other sources of information, to ensure they choose a contractor who is both skilled and trustworthy.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Edit 1: After the third day of work (originally quoted two) Tom assured my that he and his team would clean up the yard to make sure no nails were present. After him team left for the day my wife and I found around 300 nails. Note that this was AFTER the original 100+ we found. If it wasn't for Tom and his team leaving equipment at our place, we wouldn't have found these nails. One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a local business, one star does not do this justice. As you can see by the pictures below, Waligorski Roofing does not value the home nor cleanliness of their clients. After leaving for the day, they left copious amounts of trash, debris, nails, and hardware out in plain sight in both the front and backyard. If you have kids, family, pets, or loved ones who plan to use the front or backyard, I would highly suggest that you do a clean sweep after they leave. From the first day alone, we found 20+ nails scattered throughout the backyard where our dog and kids play.Aside from the blatant disregard to the safety or cleanliness of the home, Waligorski Roofing also took ~14 days from the initial appointment to start the work on the roof. While I understand that weather and other factors go into determining whether or not workers can work, this amount of a delay indicates to me that they do not value expectations that are being set, nor have the courtesy to update the owner to plan accordingly. At this point I would rather take a roofing certification course, purchase my own equipment, and live with the thought of a shoddy roof job than have to deal with Waligorski Roofing any further. I hope that this allows you to make your own informed decision as to trust Waligorski Roofing with your money or time.
Oct 10, 2018 · Davey HamptonWorst roofing company!!!! DO NOT USE THEM!!! We had a roof done by them 4 years ago and have had nothing but problems. The first year the roof was on by winter the roof was leaking sooo bad water was running into our kitchen. Tom tried to tell me it was the roof! I had several other roof come in and tell me it most definitely was. Matter of fact we paid Tom (the owner) for 6ft ice shield, he install 3ft. Inspector made him place that as the contact states. He never in stalled new flashing on the chimney (we paid for that). Year after year every time we would have to replace new drywall and paint from the leaks. Tom would hardly ever return our calls. If he did, he would send out his nephew Rusty. He would show up without a lattter or if he did show up with one, he would pretend he’s fixing something. When they installed the roof there was absolutely no ventilation through our roof. If you looked at her roof it looked like there was ventilation but that was just for show. We are still under warranty to this day through him which he will do nothing. We ended up having to get a mold test done throughout our house because there is mold from no ventilation. The roof was done totally incorrectly. Shingles were totally lifting up nails were all exposed. We paid for bad board which that was never replaced. Everything that was stated on his contract was not done. They just put shingles down with nothing under the shingles. We ended up just now having someone come out and do our roof correctly. This company you can not trust!!!! I made a complaint with the Better Business bureau, and Tom’s company lied and said that they were corresponding with my insurance company. This is totally not true! This guy is a scam artist! We have been through so much with this company I just can’t even deal with it anymore! Just don’t use them you will be sorry!
Jun 18, 2018 · Kristin ParkinsonTom quoted a price for my garage roof that was to be shingled only at the beginning of Aug. I called every Monday for 2 months and he assured me it would be done that week. However I ended up looking elsewhere to get it done while my garage roof was covered by a tarp the entire time. Great pricing but no work ever done. Run, do not walk, away from this company.
Oct 25, 2018 · Bonnie ColemanToms company did my roof a while back and I referred him to my brother. I was looking up his number today to send it to a friend and decided to write this review. Tom is a very honest guy and won’t try to up sell you things you do not need. Some of these other roofing companies want to charge you 12k for a roof on a 1200 sq ft home, which is outrages. He runs a smaller operation so it may take a little longer to get scheduled, But you will save a lot of money and will be dealing with an honest owner. To me that’s worth a little extra time. These other reviews seem a little strange to me. Thanks again Tom. I hope you are doing well.
Oct 21, 2019 · Gerald LeeThis is the roofing company that installed roof. I contacted Tom (the owner) to have someone out to make the repair covered under a 30 yr warranty back in April stated on the paperwork. A man came out and told me his name was "Rusty". He told me it was too cold at the time to do the repair and he would be back when it got warmer which I was fine with, but once the weather warmed up, he never contacted me at all. I then just got the roof repaired from another company. After finally speaking with Tom and explained how much it cost me to get the leak fixed (parts + labor) he then gave me a verbal confirmation over the phone that he would reimburse me for the cost, and that he would put a check in the mail on 7-25-19. I never received anything in the mail as of 7-30-19, or a callback from him. I left him a message earlier today, but as usual, no callback. I will be filing paperwork soon with the court to get my money back unless he would like to make other arrangements for payment.
