Copperhead Contracting Introduce
Navigating the world of home contracting can be a challenge, especially when faced with the unpredictable weather of Wisconsin. For residents in and around Milton, finding a reliable and professional company to handle everything from roof repairs to full-scale exterior projects is essential. Copperhead Contracting, located right here in Milton, has been a name that has come up in the community for such services. As a local business, it aims to be a partner for homeowners seeking to protect and enhance their properties. However, a responsible homeowner's journey involves doing thorough research, and it's important to consider all available information when making a decision about who to entrust with your home. The company's work has been a topic of discussion among customers, with a range of experiences that highlight both the potential for good service and some significant challenges. One customer, who experienced substantial hail damage, initially had a positive experience with a helpful sales representative but later faced long delays and a lack of communication regarding a siding project. This points to the importance of clear, consistent communication throughout the entire project lifecycle. Another review, which appears to be a legal notice, suggests that there have been issues with a breach of contract and non-payment, raising serious questions about the company's business practices and reliability. While a positive relationship at the outset of a project can be promising, it is crucial to consider the full picture, including the company's ability to complete work in a timely manner and honor its commitments. As a Milton resident, understanding these varied experiences is a vital step in making an informed choice for your home improvement needs.
Copperhead Contracting is situated at 52 Merchant Row, Milton, WI 53563, USA. This location places the company directly within the community it serves. For Milton residents, this proximity can be a major advantage. Having a local contractor means that they are often familiar with the specific building styles, codes, and common issues prevalent in the area. This local knowledge can be a significant benefit when diagnosing problems or planning a project. Furthermore, a local presence can make it easier for homeowners to schedule in-person meetings, review materials, and have a more personal connection with the people working on their homes. In the event of an emergency, such as storm damage that requires immediate attention, a nearby contractor may be able to respond more quickly. However, accessibility extends beyond just a physical address. It also involves being available and responsive to customer inquiries. As noted in a customer review, a key issue was a lack of response after the initial stages of a project, even when the customer was trying to meet a crucial insurance deadline. This highlights that while a company's physical location is important, its communication and accessibility are equally, if not more, critical to a positive customer experience. While being a local contractor in Milton has its benefits, it is the overall professionalism and transparency that truly define a company's accessibility to its clients, from the initial consultation to the final completion of all agreed-upon work.
Based on the provided information, Copperhead Contracting is a company that has handled a variety of exterior home projects, specifically roofing and siding. Their services seem to be centered around addressing issues caused by storm damage, such as the hail damage mentioned in one of the reviews. While the full scope of their service offerings is not explicitly detailed in the provided data, the context suggests a focus on exterior repair and renovation. They have experience working with insurance companies, as evidenced by the hail damage project that involved an insurance approval for residing an entire house. This is a valuable service for homeowners dealing with storm-related claims, as navigating the insurance process can be complex and time-consuming. However, the reviews provided also indicate potential shortcomings in their ability to complete all phases of a project in a timely manner. The customer's experience with the uncompleted siding work despite an extended insurance deadline is a significant point of concern. This suggests that while the company may offer a variety of services, their execution and project management skills may not be consistent. For a homeowner in Wisconsin, where weather-related damage is common, finding a contractor who can not only get the initial job but also see it through to completion is paramount. Therefore, while Copperhead Contracting appears to offer essential exterior services, it is crucial for a potential client to thoroughly vet their project management capabilities and timeline expectations before committing to a contract.
Services Offered:

- Storm Damage Restoration: They have experience working with insurance claims to address damage caused by severe weather events like hail.

- Experience with Insurance Claims: The company has experience working on projects approved by insurance companies, which can be helpful for homeowners dealing with storm damage.
- Potential Issues with Communication and Project Completion: A significant highlight from a customer review is the company's "lack of professionalism and transparency" and failure to complete a project in a timely manner, even after an extension was granted. This is a crucial point for consideration.
- Alleged Financial and Legal Issues: Another provided review, which appears to be from an attorney's office, alleges a breach of contract and non-payment, suggesting potential legal and financial issues that could impact their ability to operate reliably.

In conclusion, for local residents in Milton, Wisconsin, considering Copperhead Contracting, a comprehensive review of all available information is crucial. While the company's local presence and initial sales representative's helpfulness might be appealing, the negative experiences highlighted in the provided reviews raise significant concerns. The customer who waited for months for siding work to be completed, despite an insurance deadline, and received no communication from the company, points to a potential lack of professional project management and customer service. Even more concerning is the legal notice review, which alleges a breach of contract and non-payment, suggesting potential instability and unreliability in their business practices. For a local homeowner, choosing a contractor is a decision that requires a high degree of trust. The company you hire must not only have the skills to do the job but also the integrity to see it through to completion, communicate transparently, and honor its commitments. While Copperhead Contracting has a local address and appears to have experience with storm damage claims, these significant negative data points indicate that a potential client should exercise extreme caution. Before moving forward with this company, it would be highly advisable for any local to perform additional due diligence, seek recent references, and ensure all aspects of the contract, timeline, and communication plan are clearly defined and guaranteed in writing. This approach will help protect your investment and ensure a more reliable outcome for your home improvement project.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Good Morning,I'm reaching out from Berkovitch and Bouskila, attorneys' office. You have been suited for breaching contract and not paying my client. It will be great if you face your legal obligations and stop ignoring how you default on the business you receive money from.Let's set up a payment plan as our office will move forward with legal/collections which can result in frozen accounts. I doubt you want to be in this situation. What type of payments are you able to set up at this time?
Jun 06, 2024 · Oscar de LeonI would have highly recommended Copperhead Contracting, initially. We had substantial hail damage to our home from May 2018. Their sales rep was helpful and always answered our questions. In December 2018 our insurance company approved our entire house to be resided for color matching purposes. In April I contacted Copperhead because I was worried the year deadline was approaching, and they had only completed our roof, not the siding. I was assured it would be dropped off "soon." The end of April came and we had to request an extension from our insurance company because the work still wasn't completed. We now have a month left of our 90 day extension and we still don't have a date as to when our siding will be dropped off, let alone when the work will be completed. I have reached out to them for answers and have yet to get a response back. Very disappointed in this company and their lack of professionalism and transparency with their customers.

Jun 30, 2019 · Amy UheIve done my research and had multiple companies come out to give me an estimate before I chose Copperhead. Couldn't be happier with my choice. Jenny was extremely friendly and knowledgable and provided me with many different options to choose from. We signed the contract with a specific start and end date and the job was completed within the time frame and even ahead of schedule!!! They sent a crew of highly trained and professional guys to complete the work and couldn't be happier with the quality. My exterior looks amazing and I will definitely be hiring them back to do the interior!

Jun 07, 2019 · Mishayla HollerThe whole Copperhead team are great and very knowledgeable. They did such a nice job on my roof, siding and gutters that I brought them back to remodel my kitchen. Jenny is so wonderful and went above and beyond with my insurance company to get my job complete. Thank you Copperhead

Jun 01, 2019 · ramiro rodriguezIf I could give them zero stars I would. This has been the worst construction experience of my life. We had an accepted offer on a house we were buying when the hail storm hit May 2nd. The previous owners contracted Copperhead and we picked out what we wanted. Due to their inability to complete the job before our scheduled closing, we had to push back closing THREE TIMES! We were assured in the beginning the date we needed the construction work to be finished by would not be an issue and even promised us a date one week before closing. Its now August 1st and the job still isn't finished. Maybe they shouldn't go out searching for more work if they can't even finish what they started to begin with.We also had to settle for siding we didn't want (ordered wrong) because it would have delayed closing by 4 more weeks to get the siding we ordered. The customer service is horrible, Jenny was the only one that was willing to work with us-even came out to finish a job in the rain because our sales rep dropped the ball again. The owner dismissed all of our concerns and used the excuse "Im straight to the point and don't beat around the bush. I come off as a jerk, but I'm not" Coming off as a jerk probably isn't the best thing to do when you own a construction company.Save yourself the headache and use someone else! I really wish we had that option. We are now using someone else to redo the interior of the house so Copperhead lost out completely on that job!
