Go Green Introduce
In today's market, homeowners and business owners are increasingly looking for ways to improve their properties' efficiency, value, and resilience against the elements. The roof is a critical component in this equation, and for those in Van Nuys and the greater Los Angeles area, finding a contractor that excels in both roofing and modern energy solutions is a huge advantage. Go Green has established itself as a leading professional in this dual-specialty field, providing exceptional roofing and solar services. This article offers a comprehensive overview of what makes Go Green a premier choice for locals, highlighting their commitment to transparency, high-quality materials, and a customer-first approach that has earned them a stellar reputation.
A new roof or a solar panel installation can be a significant investment, and the process can often be fraught with uncertainty. Go Green’s business philosophy is built on a foundation of honesty and transparency, designed to eliminate these common anxieties. They understand that a trustworthy contractor is one who provides clear, upfront pricing without any hidden surprises. As one customer noted, they were pleasantly surprised by Go Green's "honesty and integrity," especially regarding potential extra costs for wood decking, which other companies often use as a way to overcharge later. This commitment to transparent communication from the very start of the project builds a strong foundation of trust and respect with every client.
Go Green’s expertise extends beyond just the physical installation. They are also known for their proactive and persistent approach, particularly when navigating complex bureaucratic processes like those with the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP). A client praised the team, including Sophia and Ben, for "pushing hard and not taking no for an answer" when their solar project was facing delays. This level of dedication and advocacy for their customers is a key differentiator. It shows that Go Green is not just a service provider; they are a partner committed to seeing the project through to a successful completion. Whether it's a new Owens Corning roof system or a full solar installation, their team is dedicated to delivering a seamless, hassle-free experience with fantastic results.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Anyone who wants to go solar while working with LADWP (Los Angeles) needs someone who will push hard and not take no for an answer. The folks at Go Green DIY did just that. It took a while, especially since our local (valley) LADWP division was not willing to move any solar ahead, by their own admission they were dragging due to "too many permits and inspections", but we are finally installed, inspected, metered and turned on! Hallelujah! And when our internet has been funky for monitoring our cells, They have been right back helping us make sure it's all operating as it's supposed to. They've even submitted all the paperwork for our rebate the day after the meter was installed and the system was turned on! Thanks, Sophia, Ben & team!
May 31, 2020 · Marsha HarrisMy husband and I had our roof replaced by Go Green in late October. We were referred to them by our neighbor Brad who had a great experience with them for his roofing project. We wanted exactly the same Owens Corning roof system that Brad got (in a different color)! They told us up front exactly what we could expect and there were no surprises. Go Green replaced some of our wood decking per the city inspector's order and they did it at no additional cost. This was addressed and discussed prior to our committing to the project. I know now that a lot of roofing companies give lower estimates up front and then overcharge later for wood. Go Green was completely transparent about ALL of the costs UP FRONT! We were pleasantly surprised at their honesty and integrity. I never write reviews of companies but our experience warranted it. We have been in contact with Go Green's representative about scheduling the solar project date now that the roof is done. If you are looking to replace your roof (or go solar) and want to do it right with no hassle, no surprises, and a great price you found the right company.
Nov 19, 2019 · Masha IWe knew we needed to go solar but kept putting it off. Each time we checked into it, it just didn't make sense for us financially. After interviewing four companies, we were about ready to give up, but decided to try one more. Chris and Tom from Go Green DIY gave an option that was perfect for us! We signed up and within weeks we were solar! If you want a reputable company, reps that really listen to your needs PLUS a fantastic support staff (thank you Sophia!) then Go Green DIY is for you!!!
Jan 15, 2020 · Steven ConnorGo Green DIY has the best people working for them! We signed up for the solar panels and a roofing ventilation job and we couldn't be happier and satisfied! We worked with Tom and Sophia, who were exceptionally on top of things and made sure that things are done correctly and in a timely matter. And most importantly they communicated with us in every step of the way.I wished I met them before we went with this other contracting company; EFFICIENT CONSTRUCTION to do some painting. Now Effecient Construction company is a nightmare!!!! If they come your way..."Hide your kids and hide your wife!" and lock your doors. They are not worth your time.! CALL GOGREENDIY!!!For your construction and solar needs, I highly recommend GO GREEN DIY! You will not be disappointed. This is not a paid comment and there is NO incentive, just very satisfied customers! Thank you GoGreenDIY, we look forward to doing some more future projects!
