Mountaintop Metal Roofing Introduce
In Oregon's diverse and often challenging climate, a reliable roof is paramount for every homeowner. The constant battle against rain, moss, high winds, and seasonal temperature swings can take a toll on traditional roofing materials. For many in the Portland area and beyond, a permanent, low-maintenance solution is becoming increasingly attractive. This is where Mountaintop Metal Roofing stands out. They are not just another roofing contractor; they are specialists in a durable, long-lasting roofing solution: metal. By focusing on this specific and highly effective material, they provide a service that is perfectly suited to the unique environmental needs of the Pacific Northwest.
Mountaintop Metal Roofing has built a reputation on a foundation of quality workmanship, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. The journey from the initial consultation to the final installation is designed to be a seamless and positive experience. As one customer noted, the process began with a detailed sales pitch and estimate, which made them feel confident enough to return when they were ready to move forward. This level of thoroughness from the outset is a key part of their business model, ensuring that homeowners are well-informed about the benefits of a metal roof, which include its longevity, energy efficiency, and resistance to fire and harsh weather.
The crews from Mountaintop Metal Roofing are consistently praised for their strong work ethic and efficiency. They are known for their professionalism and for putting in long, hard hours from "sunup to sundown," as a customer with a 1927 house observed. Their ability to handle complex projects, like removing four old layers of roofing with ease, highlights their skill and experience. Moreover, customers appreciate their respect for the property, with crews being on time each day and meticulous about cleaning up before leaving. This attention to detail and consideration for the homeowner's space is a significant factor in their high customer satisfaction ratings.
Beyond the main installation, their commitment to service extends to addressing any post-installation issues with the same level of care. A customer's experience with a minor furnace issue, likely caused by the work, demonstrates this perfectly. The team was described as "understanding, responsive, communicative, and quick to get it taken care of." This kind of responsiveness and accountability is what truly builds trust and earns a company a reputation as a reliable and high-quality local business. It reassures homeowners that their investment is protected and that they have a partner they can count on for the long haul.

The biggest advantage of re-roofing a home is the cost. The existing roof doesn’t have to be torn off, which means the existing roofing material doesn’t need to be replaced. Less labor, less material, and less time all make this an attractive choice for many homeowners.
- Roof underlayment
Metal roofs are more popular than ever. So it makes sense that more people are considering how else to provide the best protection for their homes. Of all the various metal roof products, underlayment may represent the greatest investment — other than the aluminum roofing material itself.

To tear off the old roof, we’ll remove the layers of shingles and underlayment to reveal the roof deck. If the damage to the home is severe, chances are the decking will be in bad shape as well. When removing the layers of roofing, we make sure to put the discarded materials in a single location.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Really happy with the new roof so far! Would absolutely recommend Mountaintop to any friends or family that was in need of a new roof.Reached out to Mountaintop in 2023 and got a great, detailed sales pitch and estimate but wasn't quite ready to move forward. Reached out again when I was ready and had a wonderful experience with Mike, Kailey, and the whole team. Was pleasantly surprised that they were able to get the work done before the holidays. Team was on time each day, efficient, and cleaned up before leaving for the day which I appreciated very much.Had a minor issue with my furnace (likely caused by their work) and the team was understanding, responsive, communicative, and quick to get it taken care of.(Pictures attached were taken by Mountaintop and shared with me)
Dec 27, 2024 · Jamie HenkelWe just got a fabulous new metal roof from Mountain top roofing. We are very happy with the outcome. Gene and his crew were professional with strong work ethic. They were here sunup to sundown working very hard. Their work is rock solid! They did everything to get the job done well and fast. It only took three days. We have an old 1927 house that had four roofs on it, and they tackled it with ease.Photo credit to Mountintop .
Oct 29, 2024 · Tess SchollMy partner and I are first time home buyers and we had a great experience with everyone at the Mountaintop team. Damon walked us through the different options and helped us find the right fit for our house and our budget. Kailey, Sage, and the office team did a great job coordinating with us and getting the logistics worked out. Gene and the install crew worked very efficiently, were fun to chat with, and did a wonderful job on the install. We’re very excited for our aluminum shingle roof. 10 out of 10 would recommend if you’re able to make the investment.

The metal roof system looks great on our house. We are very happy, was an easy process. I recommend mountaintop metal roofing for anyone needing a roof. The price was great too. They have a variety of colors and styles to choose from too. A lifetime guarantee on the roof and workmanship too, makes this company even more worth recommending.
