โ 5โ 4โ 3โ 2โ 1I wasnt going to take the time to write this but after the owner called and verbally attacked me, and I've confirmed with my insurance that they lied, I feel I should share this so no-one else wastes their time or money with Paramount Home Restorations out of Yorkville/Naperville. It's long so bare with me so you can get the whole story. I signed a contract with Paramount on 05/06/20 to complete an insurance claim on my home. In the claim it states the siding, downspouts/gutters, back patio cover, and rain cap are to be completed. The first subcontractor completed the siding in July and it looks amazing! After that things went down hill fast. The second subcontractor explained how the back patio would be done and it sounded great. After they had the first check with half down for 3 months the material was dropped off for the patio on 08/06/20 I noticed the shingles didn't match what I have so I called Sean the "manager" and told him they were the wrong color. He checked with the subcontractor and texted me to say the subcontractor forgot to tell him to cancel the order. The subcontractor gets here and tells me that Sean forgot to tell me they submitted 2 different options to the insurance company and the way we originally talked about doing it was denied because it was too much. That was a red flag because we know how much the material and stuff should cost. Yesterday the sales person was informed that the patio is not to be touched until we sit down with him and Jake (the owner) to talk together and figure it out. Thats when I realized they weren't even going to do the downspouts/gutters or the rain cap either. So after all of this I really started analyzing my estimate, claim, and costs. I called Sean this morning verifying how much has been spent so far and on what. He tells me that I have no rights to know the material costs and labor costs, and that state farm determines how much the contractor gets paid. Thats when the lies really started pouring out. None of that is true so then I told him I wouldn't recommend anyone to their company and its all fine I'll just call Jake the owner myself. Before I got the chance to, Jake called me yelling stating that he's done above and beyond for me and my house and is going to sue me for everything I have and put a lien on my house because I broke a contract?....keep in mind they only did the siding and not once went above and beyond. I guess after my call with Sean he called Jake stating I'm threatening them and called freaking out. I was calm and collective the whole time until the owner called me to verbally attack me. So because I said I wouldn't recommend them and asked for material/labor costs apparently that was attacking and threatening them?๐ I will say by the end of the call he apologized but it means absolutely nothing. As an owner of a company you never treat your customer like that when all I want is my stuff done and done the right way. If there's an issue you call and ask the customer, dont call and tell me you have millions of dollars and you can sue me for everything I have when its your company that's in the wrong. So after that I called my insurance company to start confirming what I've been told. Paramount DID NOT try to get the additional patio coverage(they shouldn't need to anyways which is why we started questioning it) instead on 07/17/20 Sean submitted the documents to insurance stating all the work is done so they could get the second check. All they did was the siding and said they did EVERYTHING ON THE CLAIM. Theyre coniving liers save your time money and energy and don't use them. As if that's not enough, they lack communication between the salesperson, owner, and subcontractor. In the picture it shows texts from him. Right after the first one I got the call where he was threatening to sue me. The second one was right after I posted this review on facebook. Stay far away from this company and the owner!! The job isn't completed and its an insurance claim so there's no way for me to "keep money" like he claims.

He took time to remedy any possible areas where water was getting behind the siding. He was professional, tidy, and the end result looks wonderful! We were in a pinch, and he fixed our issues right away. Wasn't cheap by any means, but the work that was done is very professional and looks great!

And very fast turn around had material and then installed with in a day. And crew was very clean and neat with the roof installation. I highly recommend Jake and company.
