Britton Roofing Introduce
Hello, Michigan residents! Our state's unique geography, with its four distinct seasons, puts your home’s roof to the test year after year. From the heavy snowfalls and ice that define our winters to the intense sun and rain of our summers, a reliable and durable roof is not just a luxury—it's a necessity. When it comes to something as vital as your home's protection, you need a roofing contractor who possesses a deep understanding of these local challenges and can provide expert, long-lasting solutions. You need a team that is not only skilled in their craft but also honest, professional, and committed to your satisfaction.
Britton Roofing, a family-owned business based in Harrison, Michigan, has built a strong reputation as a knowledgeable and dependable roofing contractor. They have been serving the Mid and Northern Michigan region for over 40 years, showcasing a long-standing commitment to their community. This article will serve as a comprehensive guide to Britton Roofing, highlighting the features that make them a standout choice for locals. We'll explore their location, the specialized services they offer, and the key highlights from customer experiences that demonstrate their dedication to quality. As one satisfied customer, Ben, noted, he was "very pleased with what John Britton and his team were able to do for me at my cabin in Harrison," praising their expertise and the durability of the final product.
The experience of working with a professional roofing company is often defined by trust and communication. John Britton's approach, as described by his clients, embodies these values. He doesn't just offer a standard solution; he provides knowledgeable recommendations tailored to the specific needs of the property. For a customer with a low-grade roof, John's advice to use a "rubberized roof on the porch portion of my cabin" was a game-changer. This kind of expert guidance, rooted in years of experience, is invaluable to homeowners who may not be aware of all their options. The fact that the recommended rubber membrane is expected to "last considerably longer than asphalt shingles" showcases a commitment to providing a long-term solution rather than a quick fix.
Another key aspect of Britton Roofing's service is their efficiency and professionalism. The reviews highlight a "very professional and productive crew" that often completes jobs in a single day. This speed, however, does not come at the expense of quality or attention to detail. One customer, Ben, specifically mentioned the team's "excellent attention to detail on the roof and clean up," including the use of "USA made products." This meticulous approach, from the materials they use to the way they leave the job site, demonstrates a commitment to excellence that is highly appreciated by homeowners. The fact that the crew was able to address a front gutter issue that a customer had only mentioned in passing is a perfect example of their "excellent attention to detail."
Furthermore, communication is a cornerstone of their customer service. John Britton is praised for his excellent communication, keeping clients informed "what to expect" and even sending "picture updates the day of the job." The pleasant and helpful nature of staff like Angie in the office also contributes to a positive overall experience. This combination of expert knowledge, efficient work, and outstanding communication makes the entire process smooth and reassuring for the customer. Their ability to get to a job "sooner" than expected shows a commendable flexibility and dedication to serving their clients promptly whenever possible.

Oct 17, 2023 · Steven CoxI am very pleased with what John Britton and his team were able to do for me at my cabin in Harrison. The previous owner unfortunately put shingles on a flat (very low grade) roof and they lasted for only half of their expected life. Britton pointed me in the direction of rubber. While it certainly isn't the most aesthetically pleasing roof i am very happy going with Britton's recommendation from their experience and knowledge. I'll more than likely never have to worry about a roof here again as the rubber membrane will last considerably longer than asphalt shingles. Communication with John was excellent and i always knew what to expect. Calling in mid april to schedule the job i was told it would be about late May/early June before they could get to it. They ended up having an opening and checked to see if i wanted it done sooner - now before april is over i have a new roof. John sent picture updates the day of the job, which i very much appreciated. John was also able to fix my front gutter after i had only made a comment of something his team would run in to during the project. Angie was also very pleasant to work with when at the office. While i shouldn't have to have any roofing done in harrison again i would absolutely use them again. Great communication, earlier than expected, USA made products and excellent attention to detail on the roof and clean up. Thanks! -Ben
Apr 29, 2023 · benjamin goldsteinGreat job by the crew. They showed up on time, went to work right away and finished job in a day. The crew worked well together. An older roof, the job was tougher than we thought. Out of square after 70+ years. No complaints, they dug in and made everything right. High quality materials. Replaced roof and added trim. Also extra touches I didn't expect. They were meticulous about cleaning up outside and did their best to limit mess inside cabin. Price quoted was the price I paid. Even got some fishing tips from one of the crew guys. Can't beat that. You can trust these guys to do it right.
Aug 25, 2022 · Mike DankertVery professional crew. I would highly recommend this company for your roofing needs! Worked with us on doing the roof in sections - retirees on fixed income- fast, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Very satisfied! Good job guys!!
Sep 21, 2023 · Joni RodriguezMy home roof need replacement with many roofing options I began reviewing YouTube videos to do some research. I considered metal and asphalt materials, Britton Roofing help make my decision easier from first contact, to complete job. The roofing team, lead by John did a fantastic job replacing the asphalt roof. While working they told me about minor things that needed fixing on the base deck, which was no surprise considering the house was built in 1919. John’s team worked for two days and left me with new roof and cleaned up yard. If you considering a new roof look at Britton to help you out
