Roofing contractor ★4.0

Update: 1/9/2023 - this contractor provided Falsified Insurance information on his contract (2 years expired). He will not return phone calls but we were able to find his actual insurance information and have submitted a claims, also have reported to City due to fraudulent activity with this company. DO NOT TRUST them. Find a reputable roofer, plenty in Colorado.I had a roof replaced on my property in June. In the last 4 weeks I had a complaint of a water leak in the property, we thought it was related to the shower and resealed and the tenant was ok. A few days after they moved out we had snow and very cold weather. We went into the property And water damage everywhere. After I had a contractor review the roof, nothing was repaired properly, metal over open holes or removed vents, no roofing paper, flashing was not properly installed. Overall was completely installed incorrectly. I've reached out to Dima Tsybulskiy and he whad been reluctant to send anyone to the property except for Thanksgiving day? He will not provide his insurance information and is unresponsive. I finally reached another person via his answering service who is a former partner now living in Arizona. He said Dima travels often good luck reaching him. I'm now moving forward with my attorney to try and track this company down. - Mike Welliver

Colorado Roofers Introduce

Choosing a roofing contractor in Colorado is a decision that requires careful consideration. The unpredictable climate, with its frequent hail and snowstorms, makes a quality roof a necessity, not a luxury. When your home is damaged, the process of finding a company to perform repairs or a full replacement can be stressful, and it's essential to partner with a contractor you can trust. Unfortunately, not all experiences are positive, and some homeowners have reported significant issues with a company called Colorado Roofers. While one customer had a very positive experience, other reviews and public data raise serious concerns that every local resident should be aware of. This article aims to present a comprehensive, factual overview of the company, using provided customer feedback to illustrate the importance of due diligence when hiring a contractor.

The provided information paints a conflicted picture of Colorado Roofers. One customer review from 2019 describes an excellent experience with Dima, who they say helped them through a hail storm insurance claim from start to finish. This client was "extremely satisfied" with the finished product and recommended the company's services. This review speaks to a level of professionalism and customer care that is highly valued, particularly when navigating the complex and often frustrating world of insurance claims. However, this stands in stark contrast to more recent and severe feedback that has come to light.

Two other provided customer reviews tell a story of a company that, in their experience, operates with a concerning lack of accountability and professionalism. One customer alleges that the company provided a contract with "Falsified Insurance information" that was two years expired. They further state that the company, and its principal Dima Tsybulskiy, would not return phone calls, and they had to file a claim with the company's actual insurance provider and report the activity to the city. This is a very serious allegation of fraudulent activity. Another customer, who had a roof replaced in June, discovered widespread water damage in their property after a leak. An independent contractor's review allegedly found that the roof was "completely installed incorrectly," with issues like "metal over open holes," "no roofing paper," and improperly installed flashing. This customer also reported an unresponsive Dima Tsybulskiy and was ultimately forced to seek legal counsel to try and track the company down.

These conflicting accounts highlight a crucial aspect of hiring a roofing contractor: the need for thorough verification. While a company may have some positive reviews, it is the more recent, serious complaints that should be a major point of consideration for any potential client. The allegations of fraudulent insurance information and severely improper installation are not minor issues; they strike at the heart of a contractor's integrity and competence. For homeowners in Colorado, a region where a properly installed roof is essential for protection, these concerns are particularly salient. It underscores the importance of not only checking for licenses and insurance but also verifying that the information is current and accurate.

The negative reviews also bring to light the difficulty of seeking recourse when a company is unresponsive. A customer's desperate attempts to contact the company, even reaching out to a former partner now living in another state, illustrates the frustration and financial burden that can arise when a contractor fails to stand behind their work. This is a vital lesson for anyone considering a roofing project: a reputable company should always be reachable and willing to address issues, and their insurance information should be readily available and valid. The reports of having to involve city authorities and attorneys to resolve these problems are a clear signal for any local user to proceed with extreme caution.

Location and Accessibility

Colorado Roofers is located at 2600 S Parker Rd # 237, Aurora, CO 80014, USA. This address is situated in a central area of Aurora, which might seem convenient for local residents and businesses. However, based on the customer reviews, physical location and accessibility may not translate to a responsive or accountable service. While a physical address provides a degree of legitimacy, the real measure of a company’s accessibility is its willingness to communicate and stand behind its work. The reviews suggest that a major issue with this company is not its physical location, but its communication and responsiveness after a project is completed, which is a critical point of concern for any homeowner.

Services Offered

Based on the information, Colorado Roofers appears to offer a range of roofing and exterior services.

  • Roof Replacement: One customer reported having their roof replaced after a hail storm.
  • Gutter Services: A positive review mentioned the replacement of gutters as part of the project.
  • Insurance Claim Assistance: A key feature noted in a positive review was the assistance with the insurance claim process.
Features and Highlights

  • Conflicting Customer Experiences: There is a significant disparity in customer feedback, with one highly positive review and two highly critical, negative ones.
  • Allegations of Fraudulent Information: Two customers have raised serious concerns about the company's business practices, including claims of falsified or expired insurance information.
  • Lack of Post-Project Accountability: In multiple instances, customers reported a significant lack of communication and unresponsiveness after projects were completed, especially when issues like leaks and improper installation were discovered.
  • Reported Quality of Work: One review alleges that the roofing work was done improperly, leading to severe water damage.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals

When considering a roofing contractor in the Aurora, Colorado area, the provided information on Colorado Roofers presents a complex and cautionary scenario. While one customer had a very positive experience, the other reviews raise major red flags that local homeowners should not ignore. Allegations of providing false insurance information, unresponsive management, and improperly installed roofs are extremely serious issues that could lead to significant financial loss and property damage. In a market with many reputable roofers, it is essential for local residents to conduct thorough research, verify all credentials, and read all available reviews to make an informed decision. The experiences shared by some customers with Colorado Roofers serve as a powerful reminder of the importance of vetting any contractor you consider for work on your home.
