Garlock-French did a superior job with my roof and gutter guard replacement project. They removed and replaced shingles on both my house and detached garage within the space of a day. They kept the jobsite clean and were respectful of my property. I noticed that the shingles also laid much flatter than previous roofs that I've had installed by other roofing contractors. Lastly, I was always kept in the loop by the project manager in terms of project timing when snow and rain got in the way of the original schedule. 5 stars all around for this great company and team!

We’ve had our slate tiled roof leak 5 times over the course of 15 years. The roof was rebuilt 18 yrs ago. It would only happen during a multi hour torrential downpour. We had at least 10 different companies inspect the roof over the 15 years (including the company that built it). A company called walker even did a complete overhaul of the roof within the time, but they didn’t find the spot where this leak was happening. Literally tens of thousands of dollars in repairs from the leak over a 15 year period and NO ONE could find it.. but everyone had their ‘guaranteed fix’. A fix that never worked. Finally, the house is going up for sale. Right before it hits the market we get a full day torrential downpour and the ceiling in one small area is wet. I called Garlock French in May. They put in an emergency order for me.. but be warned this kind of order will still take them 2 weeks to get to you during their peak season. They said they couldn’t find anything but one small potential spot.. and since they’ve done their thing.. there’s been no leak and a few good downpours to prove it. THIS WAS THE ONLY, as advertised, slate roof specialist that solved our problem. 15 years.. I wish I would have called them from the start. This is a 100% true story.. I wouldn’t work with anyone else who calls themselves a slate specialist. This is the one.
