- Initial Responsiveness (Varies): Some initial interactions suggest an attempt to schedule appointments, though follow-through has varied.
However, it is important to note that customer experiences can vary significantly. Some reviews indicate challenges with project management and communication, including rescheduled appointments, delays in receiving estimates, and a lack of follow-up. There have also been serious concerns raised regarding the quality of work on larger projects, specifically related to the installation of incorrect or damaged materials, issues with warranty claims, and persistent problems with functionality such as gutter drainage. One customer reported a pending investigation by the California State License Board. These points suggest that while individual experiences may be positive, potential clients should conduct thorough due diligence and consider all available feedback.

In one instance, an on-site repair during an initial estimate and a proactive approach to roof cleaning were highlighted as positive aspects, suggesting a commitment to immediate problem-solving.
However, it is crucial for locals to consider the full spectrum of available feedback. While some experiences point to positive interactions, other detailed accounts raise significant concerns regarding communication consistency, project management, and the quality of large-scale installations. Therefore, while Garner Roofing Inc is geographically accessible to the local community, potential clients in California should thoroughly research, obtain multiple quotes, and carefully review contracts and warranties. ★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1garner roofing was amazing. I had previously called 5 roofing companies and none of them would come out and repair or even look at my house because the job was not worth their time.Garner scheduled me a 100 dollar estimate. Christopher Collier was my roof inspector, he showed up on time, repaired my roof during the estimate and even cleaned the leaves off of my roof. I could not be happier with the service garner and Chris provided. They went above and beyond to make sure my roof was properly treated and ready for winter.
Dec 16, 2023 · Brenden HetrickRequested a job to replace the entire roof and add solar panels. Large job. The initial consultation was over a week out from the initial phone call then had to be rescheduled for another week out because of a job emergency of the project manager. Ok. After the consultation there was no communication so after 2+ weeks messaged the project manager and he said he was on vacation and would would get the estimate in a couple of days. Another 2 weeks later and no communication or estimate. Phoned the main office and also had not heard back. I cannot attest to the cost value as I never heard back from this company. If this type of project management is an indication of the work to be done, take a hard pass and find another company.Update September 2022. Made the mistake of going with this company. Installed the wrong roof with damaged tiles who will not make right. They tried to hide the damaged tiles with spray paint. 3 days after the most recent rain the gutters are holding >1 inch of water and despite the warranty or contract, they will not address or fix. There is now a California State License Board investigation pending on the company.Update 3/7/2023Still after 9 months garner roofing, as well as infinite energy, have failed to address any of my concerns. The California State License board is still investigating which takes a long long time. Many many calls receive no response other than we will get back to you or XYZ is out of the office. A BBB compliant lead to Garner stating they came out multiple times to address my issues to “make me happy” when in fact they came out only a couple to create more problems with their fixes, an installation mistake they made during installation. A warranty issue they state was beyond a warranty issue. I still have gutters with standing water day and days after a rain storm. The gutters leak and at the corner seams, they leak like it was a down spout. 1/3 of the roof still has crushed and severely scraped tile that now looks like a silver metal roof. They stated they would send the installation manager out, scheduled a date, and the day goes by with nobody coming. There is a scheduled inspection by the installation manager for 3/15 and sure that will pass with nobody coming by. For a veteran owned company, and I am a veteran, there is no integrity or professionalism in the company. The main reason why I went with Garner. The mantra of Garner and infinite energy, per the project manager Taylor that left to create his own roofing company and because of ethics with the owners, quantity over quality. For additional perspective, one photo shows the plywood they replaced that didn’t extend to the fascia board exposing the underlayment which they said was code, one photo is of the standing water in the gutters that lack drainage 4 days after a small rain storm. And finally the last picture, which shows the solution of Garner “fixing” a gutter with standing water by putting a downspout in the middle of the gutter so the entire 500+square foot of roof’s drainage pours right on top of a 45 square roof overhang with only one downspout to the ground.
Mar 07, 2023 · Brian BernardyWe are very pleased and happy with Garner Roofing and we highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone. The process from start to finish was smooth and the work was impeccable.Trevor Wood - this guy is great to work with. He worked with our time schedules, answered all our our phone calls and texts and got back to us in a timely manner. I personally would not want to work with anybody else other than Trevor. We are very grateful to him. Very professional, great personality.Rich Walton (President/CEO of Infinite Energy)- the man who knows how to deliver a promise. We had a very short window to work, but he made sure they were finished on time. They even finished early. Very impressive.Forrest Ward (lead installer) - very professional and courteous. He did not leave our home until all the little things that needed attention were to our standards.Dennis Gordon (Solar Superintendent) - he knows his stuff. His work was like an art piece. Very professional and efficient.Rebecca Fisher - she had an answer for every question and inquiry I had. Very polite and pleasant to talk to and kept us on the loop. The bottom line, we did not have one bit of negative criticism towards Garner Roofing and Infinite Energy. We are more than happy we picked the right company to work with. We are very pleased with the group of people that helped us make this project happen. Thank you to you all!Larry & Bernadette Jeffs
Jan 15, 2019 · Bernadette JeffsGarner Roofing has always done a good job on my roof repairs until now. In August, I hired them to fix a roof leak and to add gutter guards. I signed a contract online and paid a down payment. After the job was done, the workers told me what I owed and without seeing a bill, I paid it. After numerous requests of wanting a bill, I finally received one and realized that they had never deducted my down payment. I asked them for the extra money back and after numerous phone calls and emails that went nowhere, my wife drove up to their office and they promised they would send out a refund check as soon as the owner signed it. Come to find out, the estimator underestimated the job and is no longer with the company, which could be the reason that we have not received our money back. In the meantime, being 83 years old and not able to go up on ladders and taking Garner Roofing’s word for it that the gutters were installed correctly, when my sons looked at their work on the gutters, they were horrified by what they saw. The estimator told me that they were going to pull up the tile and install the gutters underneath. Instead, they did not pull up the tiles, they just shoved the gutters under the tile which created a lot of holes, open gaps and bending of the gutters. It was the worst, most sloppy job I have ever seen. It is now toward the end of November, and we still have not received our overpayment check, however, Garner Roofing did come out three times to try and fix the installation problems of the gutter guards, but they still look unprofessional. For a company that is supposed to be professional, they were not. They took advantage of me, being a senior, and I think they are not refunding my money because they underestimated the job, which is no fault of mine. I will never use Garner Roofing again. I will use a more honest and professional company.
Nov 30, 2024 · David AfanaThis is terrible service and poor business practice! Ruben Moreno came to my property in June 2024 and said that they have a special and gave me a quote for my roof. They took my deposit said it would probably be installed in July/August. When August came, No one called me back or set something up. I had to call them to get an update. They said that they would have to come back out and look at the dry rot to make sure they can give me a more accurate quote since they did another property for me and jacked up the price to 3-4 times the original bid because they said that there was more dry rot than they thought. The roof stay opened and it rained so I had to accept their overprice bid in order to finish the job. I wanted to avoid this again so I asked them to confirm the dry rot estimate again on this property in August. They came out and never called me back again. I had to call their office and Ruben and asked for my deposit back. They were quick to take my deposit originally. But it's now November and they keep on playing phone tag games saying that they need to confirm the mailing address. It's now November 25, 2024 and I am still chasing them to get the original deposit back in June! Such terrible customer service, unprofessional, poor business practice!I WANT MY MONEY BACK FROM RUBEN AND GARNER ROOFING!!!! Stay away from these guys!!!!
