Las Vegas Roofing Services is located at 4965 W Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89103, USA. This address places the company in a central and well-trafficked part of Las Vegas, making it accessible to residents from various parts of the valley. The location on West Tropicana Avenue is a key advantage, as it is a major east-west artery that connects to other major roads and freeways. This provides the company with a convenient base for their operations, allowing them to dispatch crews and materials efficiently to job sites throughout the city, including areas like Spring Valley and Summerlin. For customers, a central location can often mean a more responsive service, as technicians are not spending excessive time traveling to and from different parts of the expansive metropolitan area.
In terms of communication and accessibility, Las Vegas Roofing Services can be reached by phone at (702) 403-1699. A dedicated phone line is an important tool for any service-based business, as it provides a direct way for customers to get in touch for consultations, scheduling, or to address concerns. The company's physical address and phone number are crucial pieces of information for any local resident looking to vet a potential contractor. Knowing where a business is located and how to contact them directly are the first steps in establishing a relationship and ensuring that they are a legitimate and accessible presence in the community.
Based on general industry practices and public commentary, a contractor like Las Vegas Roofing Services would likely offer a range of services to meet the diverse needs of homeowners in the region.
Here is a list of typical services a roofing contractor of this nature would be expected to provide:
Roof Replacement and Installation: This is a core service for any roofing contractor, involving the complete removal of an old roof and the installation of a new one. This often includes replacing underlayment, damaged wood, and installing new roofing materials like shingles, tiles, or foamed systems.
Roof Repair: A contractor would be expected to handle various types of roof repairs, from fixing leaks and replacing broken tiles to sealing areas around vents and chimneys. This is especially important in Las Vegas, where a small leak can quickly become a major problem.
Warranty Services: A key component of a full roof replacement is the warranty. Customers typically expect a contractor to stand by their work and honor any warranties provided on both materials and workmanship, ensuring that any issues that arise after installation are promptly and effectively addressed.
Re-Roofing: This service involves adding a new layer of roofing material over an existing one, which can be a more cost-effective alternative to a full replacement for certain types of roofs.
Material Consultation: A professional contractor should be able to provide expert advice on different roofing materials, such as foamed roofs, asphalt shingles, and tiles, helping clients choose the best option based on their home’s structure, budget, and the local climate.
Public feedback can offer a unique perspective on a company's performance, highlighting specific experiences that may be of value to a prospective customer. Reviews of Las Vegas Roofing Services indicate a mixed bag of experiences, which are important to consider.
Here are some features and highlights gathered from public comments:
Customer Experience and Communication: Some customers have reported difficulties with communication and follow-through. One reviewer mentioned being given "the run around" and that the company failed to show up for scheduled appointments to fix a persistent leak, even after a full roof replacement.
Quality of Work and Materials: In some instances, the quality of the work has been called into question. A customer noted that a new roof continued to leak after installation and that a simple repair job was performed with inadequate materials, causing the problem to worsen. Another review mentioned that the workers damaged property and did not properly clean up or replace broken tiles.
Handling of Warranties and Guarantees: There have been reports of challenges in getting the company to honor its warranties. A customer who opted for a full roof replacement to secure a warranty later faced difficulties in getting the company to address a leak that reappeared shortly after the work was completed. This suggests a potential gap between what is promised and what is delivered in terms of post-installation support.
Professionalism and Equipment: Public reviews have raised concerns about the professionalism of the team and the quality of their equipment. One reviewer described the crew as "two guys in an old beat up pickup truck with nothing but caulk" for a job that required more extensive materials and expertise.
Customer Advocacy: Some customers have expressed a need to escalate their issues, considering options like litigation, due to the company's alleged lack of action. This highlights the importance of a contractor’s responsiveness, especially when a customer is not a local resident and has limited ability to oversee the project in person.

In conclusion, for Las Vegas locals considering Las Vegas Roofing Services, a thorough and cautious approach to your decision-making is recommended. The company's central location is a practical advantage, and their service offerings are in line with general industry expectations. However, it is crucial to consider the feedback from other customers, which raises significant concerns about responsiveness, quality of workmanship, and the honoring of warranties. The reviews suggest a potential disconnect between the service promised and the service delivered, which is a major factor to weigh when a substantial investment like a new roof is on the line. While every customer experience is unique, the consistency of these negative reports points to potential issues that prospective clients should be aware of. When choosing a contractor, it is essential to prioritize a company with a proven track record of not only doing a good job initially but also providing reliable follow-up and standing by their commitments. Based on available public data, it would be prudent for locals to carefully consider all options and potentially seek bids from multiple contractors to ensure they find a reliable partner for their roofing needs.

leak
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I was talked into getting my whole roof replaced so I can get a warranty if there are any leaks afterward. So I went ahead and had them replace my whole roof. A few months later it rains and there was still a leak. I called them and they told me they were going to make an appointment with my tenants. They never did and my tenants eventually moved out. Mind you, that the leak had already caused damages to the new laminate stair case flooring that I had just laid out. They new about this also because I had complained to them multiple times, but I got the run around and since I don't live in Vegas it was hard for me to keep up.A year later, I have new tenants and my new tenants complains of a leak (the same leak that southwest roofing haven't fixed) and so I call these guys again to schedule for someone to go out there and fix the roof. The same story... they give me the run around and after a few more phone calls they finally called back telling me that they scheduled an appointment with my new tenants. A few days later, my tenants calls me back saying they never showed up!Right now, my options are to try and hold them to their end of the bargain still and not let them loose. However, if they don't take any action to fixing my roof, I may just have to sue them and take this into litigation. I have already lost 1 tenant (lost of income for 9 months) and tolerated property damages that I didn't even think of making it their responsibility to fix, but my patience and tolerance is being tested.Don't ever hire these guys for roofing! They are unprofessional and dishonest. I initially wanted my whole roof to get foamed and they swayed me out of it in order to get the warranty but they did not/ have not held their end of the bargain!!!!
Jul 25, 2013 · Godfrey BolanoPathetic. Worst contractor I ever hired. Did not fix the leak in my roof, DAMAGED my roof, refused to come out to fix it or even look at it again. Two guys in an old beat up pickup truck with nothing but caulk showed up to do the repairs. Paid over $1100 to fix the leak. Last rain it leaked worse than ever. They broke a corner tile and didn't replace. Supposed to replace tar paper in area of leak - showed up without tar paper or proper materials. BEWARE!
