LateNight Roofer Introduce
When a roofing issue arises, especially during a late-night storm or an unexpected leak, finding a reliable and responsive contractor is a top priority for homeowners in Ohio. LateNight Roofer, based in Toledo, presents itself as an option for these urgent situations. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the company, combining its provided business details with available customer feedback. The goal is to give a clear and factual picture, helping local residents make an informed decision when choosing a roofing contractor. As with any service, it is crucial to consider a full range of experiences to determine if a business is the right fit for your specific needs.
LateNight Roofer operates out of an address located at 416 Cincinnati St, Toledo, OH 43611, USA. This places them within the greater Toledo area, making them geographically accessible to a wide range of residents in the region. The address is a central point from which they can dispatch teams to handle roofing calls. Given their name, their service model appears to focus on providing assistance outside of traditional business hours, which can be a significant advantage for those dealing with sudden and unexpected roofing emergencies. Their local presence in Toledo means they are familiar with the area's specific architectural styles and weather-related roofing challenges, from heavy snowfalls in winter to summer thunderstorms. However, for any local resident considering this business, it is essential to understand the full scope of what their service entails and how their physical location translates into on-the-ground service delivery.
The services offered by LateNight Roofer, as gathered from public data and customer feedback, seem to primarily focus on addressing urgent and emergency roofing needs.
- Emergency Roof Repair: One customer review highlights a positive experience with a late-night emergency repair. The contractor was able to quickly identify and patch a hole in the roof, providing a temporary or permanent fix to stop a leak during rain. This suggests that the company is equipped to handle immediate, time-sensitive issues that can cause significant damage if left unaddressed.
- General Roofing Services: While not explicitly detailed in all public data, a roofing contractor of this nature would typically offer a broader range of services. This might include more extensive roof repairs, shingle replacement, and possibly full roof installations, though the primary focus appears to be on immediate fixes.
- Quoting and Project Planning: Based on customer feedback, the company provides quotes and project timelines. One review mentions receiving a quote and a project timeline of 5-8 days for a larger job, though the completion of the project and the quality of the work were heavily disputed. This indicates that they do engage in the process of estimating and planning projects beyond simple patches.
Public feedback on LateNight Roofer offers a stark contrast between two very different experiences, which is a key feature to consider.
- Rapid Emergency Response: One highlight is the company's ability to respond quickly to a late-night emergency call. A customer was very pleased with the promptness of the response and the fair price for the service. This demonstrates a clear strength in their business model, which is their ability to act fast when a customer is in a vulnerable situation with a leaking roof.
- Significant Negative Feedback: A major highlight from the public record is a detailed negative review from a customer. This review alleges significant issues, including failure to complete a project on time, unprofessional behavior, and careless work that caused additional damage to the home. The customer also claimed that the contractor used the wrong materials and tools, leading to the need for another company to re-do the work.
- Questionable Work Ethic and Professionalism: The negative review also mentions concerns about the contractor's personal conduct, including alleged drug use, frequent absences from the job site, and unprofessional altercations with a coworker. This raises serious questions about the overall reliability and safety of the service provided.
- Allegations of Threats: The most severe highlight from the negative review is the allegation that after being fired, the contractor threatened the client. This is a very serious claim that should be a significant consideration for any potential customer.

For local residents in Toledo and the surrounding Ohio communities, a thorough and cautious approach is essential when considering LateNight Roofer. While one customer had a very positive experience with a late-night emergency patch, another customer reported a highly negative and troubling experience involving serious allegations of unprofessionalism, poor work quality, and safety concerns. This dichotomy in public feedback is a critical factor. For locals dealing with an emergency, the promise of a rapid response is appealing, and one review suggests that this is a strength. However, the other review suggests that for larger, more involved projects, the company may present significant risks to a homeowner's property and well-being. Therefore, a local considering LateNight Roofer must weigh the potential for a quick, effective fix against the documented risks of an incomplete or substandard job, alongside serious concerns about safety and professionalism. It is always recommended to perform due diligence, request detailed quotes, and verify credentials and references before hiring any contractor, especially when facing conflicting public reviews.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1If you value your safety, home, wellbeing, and money stay away from Josh Rawlings and his company Late Night Roofer! Long story short, we hired him for a job he said would be 5-8 days and 3 weeks later he didn’t even complete it. We paid him more than half the money owed. Most times he didn’t show up and if he did, he would pretend to work for an hour and leave for hours. When he would show up, he’d be high and reckless with his work. His girlfriend, who is his driver was so strung out one night I thought she was overdosing. He was so unprofessional, untrained, lazy, and careless. He caused so much damage to our house and wasted so much material we bought. Josh and his girlfriend eventually confessed that they were drug addicts and were using again. Josh and one of his workers almost got into a fist fight several times. We ended up firing him and he threatened to send gang members to my house where my infant and toddler live. We then hired another company and when they came out to inspect, we were told Josh used wrong materials, tools, and did a shotty job. The new company ended up redoing what he did. DO NOT HIRE HIM!
Jul 24, 2025 · Yessenia Ramirez CortesHad a hole in my roof that I wasn't aware of til I was, during a bit of rain. They came out after a brief explanation, and patched it thoroughly, and for a really fair price given it was around 9pm and they came out within an hour. Highly recommend and would use them again if I had to
May 23, 2025 · Kombin3Josh did great work! He went above and beyond what I anticipated and what we discussed for no extra cost on labor. He's very professional.
Mar 19, 2025 · Brian MarquezJosh has done several jobs for me in the last few years. His prices are always fair and his work is great! He goes above and beyond! Pays attention to the small details. Doesn’t matter if it’s a repair, a roof over or a new roof I know I can count on him to get it done, for a fair price and in a reasonable amount of time. Highly recommended
