We had a great experience with NuLook. We replaced over 60 windows at our house recently. They were engaging and helpful through the sales process. Their installation crews were fantastic, especially their team leads who were great at letting us know what was going on and taking care of the house throughout the two day process. Following installation we had a couple of necessary follow-up items and they were great at quickly scheduling and resolving. Overall we were very pleased with our experience with the NuLook team and would highly recommend them.

Anyone in the northern Va area wanting to replace windows will find there are a number of companies to pick from. To begin with, I chose NU LOOK for their very favorable reviews and lifetime warranty. I had 85-year-old steel casement windows and was not sure if anyone would want the job of replacing them. But NU LOOK did the work at a very reasonable price. The job (15 windows) was done in one day with several inches of snow on the ground; and the installers were skilled, pleasant and communicative. The new windows are tightly sealed, quality-made, and easy to use/clean. And I can confirm that everyone at NU LOOK is focused on customer satisfaction.

Nu-look was very responsive and quick to act on our roof replacement after we encountered a leak in our kitchen. They were also able to contact and enlist the support of the company that had installed a solar water-heating system many years prior to remove and reinstall the solar panels on very short notice so the work could be completed timely and quickly. This alone was worth a 5 star rating; however, I was left hanging in regards to window shades on existing skylights that were replaced with the roof. When I discussed this with the salesman beforehand, he told me that the shades wouldn’t be a problem. However, the installers ripped out the old skylights from above, which not only damaged the shades, but also caused damage to the inside cutouts for the windows. After installation, they sent someone to patch the holes and other cosmetic damage, and sent me info as to where I could purchase new shades. This could have been avoided if the installers had been informed of the existing shades, took them down from the inside, and reinstalled after the new skylights were installed. To their credit, they apologized for the error, but I’m still left with an added hassle and cost of over $1500 to replace the shades.Overall the roof looks great, and they also replaced the gutter guards inside our existing gutters, and added a new downspout to an area that wasn’t getting adequate drainage. We had hoped that this addition would solve the problem we have had with spillover and icicles over our front entrance, but unfortunately the problem still exists despite the new downspout. Will likely need a different solution in the future.

We are VERY happy with the service and product that Nu Look has provided.This company has an amazing staff who are so thoroughly making sure that we are aware of every step of the project, from the initial visit to the final product.This review would not have taken place if Chris did not start to offer his company's service in an extremely professional manner when he came to our home. Thank you, Chris.Then Kelsey (We may not get the name right) made sure that we are available for the second visit with whom we will know about the detail of the materials, warranty and most important of all ...a piece of mind.Mike came, on a Saturday, not only was happy to see us but also provided very informative knowledge about the product that we are getting. Mike is very knowledgeable at what he does.Ron is a very experienced employee who Nu Look has. He noticed the discrepancy after only five minutes arriving to perform the final inspection prior to the installation. He notified us the difference of what we have mistakenly ordered versus what we current have. He made the appropriate changes on the spot.Then comes the installation day. We were advised the crew would arrived between 7 and 9AM. It is forecast to rain in the early evening. Somehow the project manager, Gustavo, understood the same concern that we have, a crew of seven was dispatched to the work site at 6:30AM. This sense of urgency is extraordinary!Gustavo is on site to address all the minor concerns that we have. His follow through skill has earned the respect from the crew he calls "The Best". They perform the requested tasks immediately.Omar is the lead installer who not only stays busy throughout the day but makes sure his crew are productive and safe. He personally carried a whole full pallet of supply on his shoulders to a different, safer location from the driveway in order to get those onto the roof via an elevator while others are busy removing old roof.We have a yard full of flowers. None was damaged because of the crew's exceptional care.In the end, we have a NEW ROOF and zero issue!Thank you Nu Look and your awesome crew!

After the storms and high winds in my area earlier this year, I noticed water on my front porch which was coming from behind the siding. Assuming roof damage, I called a roofing company advertising on a local radio station in Northern Virginia. The company informed me that they worked regularly with insurance companies for storm-related roof damages. However, when I tried to schedule an appointment for them to inspect my roof prior to my contacting my insurance company they informed me that they did not do inspections prior to a claim being filed; I told them I would look elsewhere.I then called Nu Look Home Design, who agreed to send an inspector to my home the same week. The Nu Look inspector (Kevin) came to my home on time, went upon my roof, and conducted a very detailed roof inspection, complete with photographs of storm-damaged shingles on all major roof surfaces, chalk markings on all the damaged shingles (visible from the ground), and a complete written report with applicable Virginia building code references supporting the need for a completely new roof.I was very impressed with the Nu Look report and immediately filed a claim with my insurance company, submitting the report as part of my claim. When my insurance company sent out their adjuster, Kevin came to my home as well, and accompanied the adjuster throughout his inspection and discussing each portion of the report with him. My insurance company approved the installation of a completely new roof, which Nu Look installed the following week.Two days prior to the installation, the Nu Look foreman (Oscar) came to my house and explained the installation process to me. On the day of the actual installation, the Nu Look crew showed up on time and Oscar came with them to ensure the installation got started on time and that all the crew members understood their assigned tasks. The crew was very friendly, efficient, and cleaned up their work area as they went. The installation was completed in the early afternoon the same day and my family and I were totally impressed with the Nu Look work.I shared my experience with my neighbors and two of them also reached out to Nu Look and had similar results to mine. All-in-all, Nu Look did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone. They are my roofing company of choice from here on out! Richard H.
