Stonecrest Roofing and Siding Reviews
Please save your money and go to a reliable contractor. This contractor did my roof in 5/2020. In 10/2022, only 2 and a half years later, shingles fell off my roof. I reached out to the owner, Brian, and his wife Allison responded. (Side note: the only time I ever heard from Brian was when he was trying to land the sale and before he got my money. Once he got my money I never saw or heard from him again. He did not even come look at the job his crew had done.) Anyway, they sent their crew out some time in November to fix the shingles. Then in 9/2023, more shingles fell off. Again I emailed Brian and got a response from his wife, Allison. Since this was the 2nd time in 3 years that this had happened I asked Allison to have the roof inspected and for the issue to be rectified. Initially she was polite and professional and stated she would have the job foreman inspect the roof. Unfortunately, it took a bit longer to have someone come out this time but they did finally send someone out to have the shingles repaired. When I asked about whether the roof was inspected I got quite the rude reply back from Allison. I left it alone hoping the issue would not happen again. Now it is 4/2025, not even a full 5 years since the roof was replaced and more shingles have fallen off. This is the third time in 5 years. This time around when I asked them to repair and inspect the roof. I received the email which I have posted stating that the business has closed. The reply came 4 hours after my email was sent so it was certainly NOT an automated reply. Also, if I check online, the business appears to be open and still running. I have all our email correspondence saved as well as the signed contract which states that there is a lifetime warranty on labor and material. I should state that I do have a steep roof called a Mansard roof and according to my own research, this type of roof requires careful installation, often involving extra nails and sealing to ensure durability. I can confidently say that my roof did not get the proper installation which a reputable contractor would have been able to do. I am so disappointed in this company and cannot believe people have no pride in their work or their businesses these days. Please save your time and money.Update: This man, Brian Sarisley, did in fact end up closing up his business, Go with home pro, LLC and is now operating under the name of Stonecrest Roofing and Siding. Based on other reviews I’ve read him and his wife have done this to multiple people. Again, please save yourself the hassle and go to a real contractor.
Jun 07, 2025 · R MWe highly recommend Stonecrest for roofing projects! After receiving a termination notice from our homeowners insurance company if we didn't get our roof replaced in a month (received the notice just before Christmas, requiring roof replacement by January 21st, in Connecticut), we scrambled to find a company to replace our roof and handle other major repairs as part of the project. Reached out to Stonecrest after getting a recommendation from someone else in town.Brian came out to take a look and work on an estimate, and we decided to move forward with the work on our 1917 Craftsman-style home.I can't speak highly enough of the dedication of the team, led by Tony, who worked on our roof, installed new corbels that we made to replace the original rotted ones, built a structure to support the sagging eaves on both the house and garage and installed soffit, covered the fascia and rake, and had gutters installed. This was so much work, all in the middle of winter, and it was executed beautifully.Allison has been a pleasure to work with throughout the project and beyond - always so responsive and helpful. We have had a couple of small things come up as the weather has changed (gutter pitch, for example, seen after torrential rains, was remedied by adding another downspout) and they have been handled quickly and professionally. They stand by their work, and work hard to remediate any issues.Again, highly recommend the Stonecrest team - if we decide to go with siding or other projects in the future, we will definitely not hesitate to with with them again!
Jul 11, 2024 · SuzanneBrian, Allison, and the rest of the team are some of the nicest, most respectful people you will come across. They communicate with you every step of the way, and so you know what’s being done and why. Couldn’t be happier with our roofing and siding job!
