★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Siding has come off several times. When I contacted owner he finally came out to see what I was talking about. Oh did I mention the back of my house is buckling again my sales rep did everything he could before leaving company. When the owner come to inspect the buckling he tried to say I put nails into wood which would not let siding to expand in heat thus causing it to buckle and refused to fix it. I did not try to make any repairs on the siding at all. Do not use this company by any means. We had several cheaper companies to do our siding but decided to go with the more expensive for better quality. Boy were we naive. Screw this company they don’t stand by their work and employees leave through the revolving door here.
Apr 26, 2025 · Mark HartI contacted StormGuard when I had evidence of water damage coming into my foyer. Apparently, my roof had suffered hail damage which caused water to damage my foyer, guest bathroom, skylight in master bath & in basement. I contacted StormGuard early June and they immediately sent about 10 non-English speaking immigrants who put a new roof on my very large house in less than three-quarters of a day! The people across the street just had a much smaller roof replaced that took days! Upon walking to my car parked on the street, I glanced behind me & immediately noticed that the ends of the roof had sharp upward curves that weren’t there before! I had a couple professionals inspect the roof & at least 2 of them said that the main roof was probably bowed & StormGuard made no repairs to the main roof nor did they check for water damage in the attic. I was told that my house was built that way before they put on a new roof, but that was not true! They told me that there was nothing that could be done to fix it. I spent $1,000 for better Owens-Corning shingles & StormGuard told me the thicker shingles made the upward curves obvious. I think I should have been told this before I selected thicker shingles. I thought a new roof would really enhance my home, but instead it detracted from it.I have a vaulted foyer which is where I noticed water lines coming down the wall. It took a few weeks & several calls to get their “best & highest paid“ painter to come & do the inside work. The paint job is so bad that I refused to give StormGuard the final check from my homeowners insurance. The “professional” painter didn’t do any prep work & used a semi-gloss paint. If you don’t properly prep, every demarcation that I couldn’t see with flat paint showed up everywhere—because you are not supposed to use semi-gloss paint in a foyer! Additionally, he rolled the semi-gloss paint on in every direction possible & even I know you are supposed to roll in one direction only! He didn’t build any scaffolding & hardly used a ladder. He also did not use drop cloths! He got paint all over my woodwork & atop each doorway— obviously, he took no care to properly edge so my steps, rails & baseboards are covered with paint, thereby devaluing my beautiful home & costing me more money to re-stain my expensive woodwork. Ace Hardware sold me a latex paint remover, but it was also taking off the wood stain. Plus, I am physically handicapped & could not clean the tons of paint he got everywhere. There was also no care taken not to get paint on my white ceiling, beige ceramic tile floor& furniture. I called to complain & many pictures were taken back to the owner of the company. I was assured the painter would fix his many mess-ups. Weeks went by & the painter did not show. Now we are in late fall! In the meantime, I did my research on the Internet & talked w/building inspectors & professional painters & they all said it was the worst paint job they ever saw & couldn’t have been done by a professional or at least a person who takes pride in his work. The water lines that were coming down my foyer walls look worse now than before he painted them! There are parts of the walls that have no paint on them & the corners where the front & side walls adjoin look like he let a bunch of paint just dribble down the crease, with the paint not even blended in! So when I finally got a call to schedule the painter, I made it clear that I did not want him near my property, that I wasn’t turning over the final insurance check because not only did I have to get the job done from scratch (with prep) but also my woodwork. Secondly, I had to pay StormGuard a $1000 deductible which my insurance company had already deducted. I was told by several contractors that they are not allowed to take a deductible when the insurance company held it out of the check & that is theft. I questioned StormGuard about this several times.
Feb 13, 2021 · Donna GregrichJohn and the crew at Storm Guard did an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING JOB with our roof repair. Throughout the whole process, he was upfront and honest about the quality, pricing, and timeline for the project. His crew managed to replace the shingles for our entire roof and clean up everything around the house in less than 10 hours. We are extremely happy and recommend this company for everyone.
Apr 23, 2022 · Emile KhouryStorm Guard did a phenomenal job on our roof! They came early and did the whole roof in 1 day. They were quick and precise no questions just did the job! . We had a few leaks coming through before, there’s no leaking now! They even added material to our flat roof for rain and snow, AND fixed the mortal on our chimney. I already see a difference when it rains. After they finished they did an excellent job with the clean up. There were absolutely no nails or roof debris anywhere near our house. We would highly recommend Storm Guard to anyone!!
Jun 12, 2020 · Tanya ThomasThe Storm Guard Team lead by Account Manager Dylan Decicco were very professional from the beginning and did a complete inspection of my roof to make sure it was performing the job it needed to for my home. They explained the damage on my roof, showed me where the damage was, showed me pictures of the damage, and explained the extent of it and how to repair it. I was not aware of the damage, and because of their experience and the fact that they approached me to do an inspection, they saved future damage to my home that would have happened over time. Their team explained the job they would do thoroughly, their planning was spot on, they did it on schedule, and did a phenomenal job. They worked long hours and took great care to clean up the roof removal debris. I was very impressed with the overall service and would recommend them to anyone that wants their roof done the right way by a professional team with quality work and products. I am a very satisfied customer.
