Ultimate Exteriors of Minnesota Introduce
For homeowners in Minnesota, having a reliable and well-maintained exterior is crucial for protecting against our state's diverse and often harsh weather. From heavy snow loads and ice dams in the winter to the high winds and hail that can accompany summer storms, a sturdy roof, well-installed siding, and efficient windows are non-negotiable. When these essential components of your home's defense system need attention, finding a trustworthy contractor can be a significant undertaking. In Milaca, Minnesota, a company that provides a range of exterior services is Ultimate Exteriors of Minnesota. This article aims to provide a clear and informative overview of this local business, detailing their location, the services they offer, and what customers can expect based on public information.
Ultimate Exteriors of Minnesota is a local contractor specializing in a variety of home exterior services. Their focus is on providing solutions for homeowners who need to repair or replace their roofing, siding, windows, and insulation. The company is built on the premise of helping homeowners enhance the appearance, energy efficiency, and overall value of their properties. They understand that for many Minnesotans, these projects are not just about aesthetics but about crucial protection against the elements. Their work is geared towards providing solutions that are both durable and effective in the local climate. They position themselves as a one-stop-shop for a wide array of exterior home improvement needs, aiming to simplify the process for homeowners who might otherwise have to coordinate multiple different contractors.
However, it is important for homeowners to be informed about all aspects of a company's service. Public feedback indicates that while some customers had positive interactions initially, particularly with pre-project customer service, there have been instances of significant communication breakdowns once the project began. One customer, in particular, highlighted a lack of communication, delays in project completion, and a failure to handle the necessary follow-up, such as city inspections and permit sign-offs. For homeowners, especially those dealing with insurance claims or time-sensitive repairs, a consistent level of communication and project management is often a key expectation. The responsibility of a roofing contractor to manage permits and final inspections is a standard industry practice, as it ensures all work is up to code, protects the homeowner from liability, and is a key part of project completion.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1We had great interaction with customer service prior to the project getting started, however once the roof project got underway there was nearly NO communication from the company. While our neighbors had their roofs completed in a day or less; our roof took nearly a week. They didn't have enough roofing material to finish the job. We had no follow-up after the roof was completed. I had to call the city to get the permit signed off on and roof inspected when it should have been the contractors job. If a company sends out a pre-project list of expectations, they should follow them!I will not recommend this company to any of my friends, co-workers, or relatives.

Mar 26, 2018 · Parker JonesI had a window project done about a year ago, I LOVE my windows and from start to finish evrything was done whe it said it would be. Did I mention I love my windows. I have a siding project that I am looking at doing. I called and spoke with one of the girls in the office and she knew who I was right away!! And we worked out a time for a sales rep to stop out with a price on my siding project.(Thats hard to do with my hectic work schedule). I cant wait to get my siding project going. I have no doubt that Ultimate Exteriors will be doing my siding project. I know I will get a great price and wonderful service!!

Aug 08, 2012 · Tinky BellI guess I felt frustrated with my experience. I had windows installed in June of this year (2012). I think I feel good about the product itself--so far. I have an 1881 farmhouse without air conditioning, and the tripple pane windows they installed seemed to keep the heat out this summer, and we'll see about performance this winter. The guys who came to the house to do the install were kind, and the people who were assigned to communicate between the initial consultation and the installation for the most part did what they promised.I felt like the initial consultation and the follow through in other areas were unsatisfactory. I did ok with the sales pitch. Because of financial restraints though, I needed to finance the project. I was quoted a $170 monthly payment, but when the first bill came in, the monthly payment was $250. On the kind of budget I'm on, that's devastating. I was also told there would be a $200 energy rebate for the installation. I have still not seen this, and the sales person indicated that Ultimate Exteriors would submit the required paperwork. As of right now, I have requested follow-up on this, and after 2 repeat inquiries, I have heard no response from their main office. The other area I was frustrated with was during the install. I had requested a specific trim color. I think it was Vinyard Gray. Upon arrival, they started installing some kind of tan color. When I asked, I was told that they couldn't locate the grey color I had ordered, so they were using this instead. For me, this was a big deal. This is my first house, my dollars are tight, and I need to feel good about this house as it is the one I am raising my kids in. AND, I hate tan. I did ask that they stop the install on the tan and switch to another color (which I had to choose on the spot because they were already onsite). As I mentioned, I have kids, and they have friends over. I was constantly finding slivers and shards of this metal trim in the grass and other areas the kids tend to play in.I guess there are good and bad experiences with any company, but I tend to roll pretty easy with things. I know some of you have had perfect experiences, but mine was frustrating. I only hope the windows perform this winter as promised...
