Atlanta Roofing and Siding Introduce
For homeowners in the Atlanta, Georgia area, the integrity and aesthetic appeal of their home’s exterior are paramount. A well-maintained roof and sturdy siding not only protect your property from the region's diverse weather—from hot, humid summers to sudden, severe thunderstorms—but also contribute significantly to its overall value and curb appeal. When the time comes for a repair, a full replacement, or an upgrade, finding a reliable and professional contractor is a key step. Atlanta Roofing and Siding is a local company that offers services to address these needs for residents throughout the metropolitan area. Based in Atlanta, the company aims to provide solutions for roofing and siding projects, which are essential for maintaining a home's structural integrity and appearance. A local company with a physical presence can often offer a more personalized and region-specific approach than a larger, out-of-state corporation.
The initial interaction with a company is often a significant factor in a customer's decision-making process. The available customer feedback provides a notable look into the experience of potential clients contacting Atlanta Roofing and Siding. One person, who was under contract on a townhome and needed a quote for a roof replacement, described a frustrating phone call. The customer, who was seeking an estimate for work to be done after closing, found their reasonable request was not well-received. They reported being abruptly hung up on after only two minutes, and they felt they were not given a chance to explain the situation fully. The customer noted a desire to work with a "cool guy" or an "enterprising one" who would see the potential for future business, but felt the communication style was a significant red flag. The reviewer concluded that they could not recommend working with someone who displayed this kind of customer service, despite the possibility of the company doing excellent work.
Another potential customer had a similar, negative experience when calling to inquire about a siding estimate. This individual, who had 13 years of experience in the customer service industry, was met with what they described as a "very nasty tone" and a "rude" attitude from the onset of the conversation. They reported being repeatedly cut off and that the interaction became increasingly hostile. After attempting to salvage the conversation, they ultimately ended the call, with the company representative responding with a dismissive "Yeah, you just beat me to the punch." The reviewer expressed shock and confusion, questioning whether the person they spoke with truly wanted business and suggesting that such behavior puts the company's reputation and business in serious jeopardy. Both reviews highlight a consistent theme regarding the customer service experience during the initial point of contact, which is a critical consideration for any potential client. While these reviews do not speak to the quality of the company's work, they strongly emphasize the importance of professional and respectful communication when dealing with customers.
Atlanta Roofing and Siding is located in a prominent part of the city, with its address at 3355 Lenox Rd NE #750z, Atlanta, GA 30326, USA. This places the company in the well-known Buckhead neighborhood, a central and easily accessible area for residents throughout the metropolitan region. The location is an advantage, as it allows them to service a wide range of communities, from the immediate area to the surrounding suburbs. A central office location makes it convenient for the company to dispatch crews to various job sites, which can be beneficial for efficiency.
For local residents, having a contractor with an office in a high-profile commercial district can provide a sense of security and legitimacy. It suggests that the company is a fixture in the local business landscape. Clients can rest assured that they are dealing with a business that has a physical presence in the community. This accessibility can be important for homeowners who prefer to have an in-person meeting to discuss their project, review materials, or handle administrative matters.
The company's phone number is (404) 720-2775. The use of a local Atlanta area code is a clear indicator that the business is focused on serving the Georgia community. The availability of this local phone number is the primary method of contact for potential customers. However, as the reviews point out, the experience of trying to use this communication channel may vary. For those who are trying to get in touch, it's important to be aware of the feedback regarding customer service during initial phone calls.
Based on the company name, Atlanta Roofing and Siding, and the available customer inquiries, the business provides services for two key areas of home exteriors. While the reviews do not provide details on the quality of the work itself, they give insight into the types of projects the company handles.
The services offered by Atlanta Roofing and Siding include:
Roofing Services: One of the potential customers was inquiring about a full roof replacement on a townhome. This suggests that the company handles projects for aging roofs, which is a common need for homeowners in the area. This would likely include tear-offs of old roofs and the installation of new roofing systems.
Siding Services: Another customer was calling to get an estimate for siding installation on their home. This indicates that the company is not just a roofing contractor but also a siding expert. Providing both services under one roof can be convenient for homeowners who want to improve or repair their home's entire exterior.
Estimates and Quotes: Both customer reviews mention calling to get a quote or an estimate for a project. This is a standard and necessary service for any contractor, and it is a key first step for homeowners considering a renovation. The reviews highlight the importance of a professional and helpful approach during this initial phase.
From the provided information, the key features and highlights of Atlanta Roofing and Siding are primarily related to their business structure and location, as the reviews focus on the initial customer experience rather than the quality of the work.
Features and highlights include:
Local Presence: The company is located in Atlanta, GA, which means it has a physical presence in the community it serves. This local accessibility is a key feature for homeowners who prefer to work with a nearby contractor.
Dual Specialization: The company's name, "Atlanta Roofing and Siding," indicates a dual focus on two critical components of a home's exterior. This specialization can be a benefit for customers who need a cohesive solution for both their roof and siding, potentially simplifying the project management process.
Customer Service Challenges: A prominent highlight, though a negative one, is the feedback on their customer service. The two reviews paint a consistent picture of a difficult initial communication experience. This is a crucial point for any prospective customer to consider, as it may indicate a potential red flag for a working relationship. As one customer noted, excellent work and excellent customer service should go hand in hand.
Potential for Quality Work: While the customer service reviews were negative, they did not speak to the quality of the work. One reviewer even stated, "This company may very well do excellent work." This suggests that a potential customer's experience with the company's final product could be different from their initial phone call. However, this remains an unknown based on the provided information.

For residents of Georgia, especially those in and around Atlanta, Atlanta Roofing and Siding is a local business with a physical presence in a convenient location. Their specialization in both roofing and siding makes them a potential one-stop-shop for exterior home improvement projects. The reviews from potential customers, however, are a critical component of their public profile. The feedback on their initial customer service experience, while not speaking to the quality of their craftsmanship, is a significant factor for homeowners to consider. The importance of a respectful and helpful interaction during the inquiry phase cannot be overstated, as it sets the tone for the entire working relationship.
Homeowners in the region who are considering this company should be aware of the feedback regarding their communication style. It is always a good practice to research a contractor thoroughly, read multiple reviews, and potentially try to schedule an in-person meeting to get a better sense of their professionalism. While the company may be capable of excellent work, as one reviewer suggested, the challenges in initial contact may be a concern for some. For locals who prioritize a seamless and positive experience from the very beginning of a project, this is a crucial factor in their decision.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I wanted to use this business, but after only 2 minutes on the phone with Will, he hung up on me. Our case is a bit unorthodox, but I don't feel that I was even able to explain it before he ended the call abruptly. He did say that he was a "cool guy to work with" but accused me of trying to "get smart" with him. Again, we had a not so unique, but novice question which was as follows:We're under contract on a townhome where we known the roof to be 18 years old and to be the owner's responsibility to replace. So I asked for a quote on the project. While I understand that I'm not the present owner I wanted to get my name on his list and schedule for shortly after close, which seemed reasonable to me (apparently this type of request in roofing is heresy, but it's not for windows (Pella is coming out on inspection day)). Not to mention the upside potential of possibly cross selling into surrounding units and doing a larger project. I knew it would take a "cool guy" or at least an enterprising one to hear me out, but I couldn't get far enough down the path before I was hung up on.I guess business is booming, but I can't recommend working with someone with this style of customer service.
Jul 16, 2021 · Ben HowardI just had a terrible customer service experience. I called to inquire about getting an estimate on siding for our home. The man I spoke with had a very nasty tone, was extremely rude, and proceeded to cut me off. This was from the onset of the conversation. I even attempted to turn the conversation around to a more pleasant tone and he became increasingly more hostile and I found myself saying in my mind, "How did we even get to this point??" When he began cutting me off, I stopped and said, "Ok. I'll wait." He responded, "Wait for what?" I explained to him that I was waiting for my turn to speak since he insisted on cutting me off. He continued to be nasty and I politely said, "It's apparent that we got off to a bad start, so I don't think this would be a good fit. Have a good day." He responded with,"Yeah, you just beat me to the punch." Unbelievable.I have been a teacher for 8 years. Being a teacher requires a great deal of customer service skills. Prior to that, I worked in the customer service industry for 13 years answering phones, serving customer needs, responding to emails, etc. A customer's first impression means absolutely everything. This begs the questions, "Does he even want business? Is he in the wrong line of business? Should he hand the reigns of the customer communication side of the business to someone who is more customer-service oriented?" If he keeps this behavior up, he is putting that company and those employed at that company in serious jeopardy of losing potential customers. I am still sitting here shocked, appalled, and confused as to what I just experienced.I read the reviews and I see that other people have had a terrible experience with this person(I pray it's not more than just him and that we are all referring to the one person). I'm not leaving this review for the purpose of telling anyone to run in the other direction. This company may very well do excellent work. However, please just consider that excellent work and excellent customer service go hand in hand. If a person you are potentially hiring displays this sort of attitude at the onset of the conversation, this is a huge red flag. Best of luck to you.
Apr 03, 2021 · B. M.I spoke with Will to schedule an estimate for some siding work on a house we were considering purchasing during our due diligence period. Will was rude initially when scheduling the estimate, getting angry with me when I corrected him after he said he wanted to schedule "the work" and I clarified we wanted an estimate done, not the work itself. Clyde, who came out and did the estimate, was on time and very nice. However, when Will called back with Clyde's estimate, I told him we didn't think we were going through with the purchase on the house, at which point he said, "So we did this estimate for no reason?" even though we clearly explained we were trying to decide whether we could afford to have the work done before purchasing the house. I was extremely unhappy with Will's attitude throughout the process, and we will not be contacting Atlanta Roofing and Siding for any work in the future after this experience.EDIT: In regards to the response below, there is still somehow a misunderstanding despite the issue being explained multiple times, which plays into our initial complaint. We DID intend to purchase the home, as we explained multiple times, but we wanted estimates to ensure that we could afford to get the work done it after we purchased it. Atlanta Roofing & Siding's estimate was the last one we received, at which point we made the decision not to go through with the purchase of the home. Will called my phone multiple times after he saw the review I left, asking me to take it down, but we are both so unhappy with our experience that we have decided to keep it up and edit it to ensure that this miscommunication is hopefully resolved and future customers are aware of the issues they may have when working with this company.
Mar 13, 2019 · Becca HardestyDo NOT do business with this company. The owner, Will Stogner, offered a free estimate, and later provided an unprofessional, unofficial quote with no details for the services he was offering. While waiting on competitor quotes (which we told him we were seeking), we received a bogus "invoice" in the mail from him for $2,500 for "stealing revenue" from his company for failing to hire them.Just a desperate and pathetic attempt to coerce payment from clients who never made any commitment to hire him.
Mar 27, 2023 · Ryan FitzpatrickCompany did a siding repair and estimate on siding replacement. Worked with Will and Chris. Both were pleasant and courteous and got the job taken care of quickly and efficiently! Will definitely be working with them again when the time comes to replace the siding completely!
