Jason was a phenomenal help the last few months to insure my house would be getting a new roof. Last September while I was in the hospital from a car accident, there was a wind storm that did damage to my roof. Several shingles missing. Jason worked with me, my mom, my insurance, helping me with other Avsten employees. I cannot thank Jason and Avsten team too much! Everyone working at Avsten is beyond kind and helpful; we worked with Jason, Erin, Hannah and Harley. Our house looks amazing, the roofing crew did a great job and had this started and completed in a day!

Excellent experience working with the sales rep Jason Hignite for my roof replacement after undergoing some storm damage. The house is a rental property and I am states away in Maryland. He made what could have been a stressful ordeal into something that was super easy and painless. After the inspection, he shared clear photos of the damage and explained everything in simple terms. He guided me through the insurance process as well, letting me know what to expect when filing the claim, which was a huge help.After he met with the adjuster and my claim was approved, the work was done after just a week. They gave me many color options for my new roof and even let me know what others in my neighborhood had done. Throughout the experience, Jason and Avsten made everything as stress-free and painless as possible. Everyone was professional, knowledgeable and easy to communicate with.Recommend!

Jason and crew were so great to work with from start to finish! Jason spent so much time talking through options with us and dealing with our insurance- around a year timeline. While our insurance wasn’t able to help us, Jason stuck by us every step of the way, following up while we made our decision to go through with the roof replacement and made sure we were taken care of. We are so happy with how quickly our roof was repaired and replaced (only took one day!) after finalizing things! We highly recommend Avsten, our roof looks amazing!

Jason, I am sorry this post is a couple of months late.I called Jason Hignite about a year ago to have my roof looked at because some areas on the ceiling were leaking. Jason and his partner arrived on the same day for an inspection, revealing multiple concerns.My Insurance company was not cooperative then, even though my Policy stated I was entitled to a new roof.Almost a year went by, and after multiple emails and phone calls with the insurance company and massive support from Jason and everyone at Avsten Roofing and Construction, the roof was approved for complete repair and interior in February 2025. They installed the roof within two weeks of receiving the good news.Note: They took extra care in covering our landscaping, pool, and hardscape pond, and we have had no issues with nails!!I have known Jason since he was a teenager. He is honest, hardworking, and diligent about following through. I recommend Jason and Avsten Roofing Construction. I give them ***** and above.Everyone went above and beyond to support me, proving that the insurance company is responsible for paying for the roof.This would not have been a good outcome without their support every step of the way.
