I was initially impressed with Bordner Roofing. They replaced my roof, windows and siding ( with James Hardie siding). I had a craftsmanship issue with a window/flashing that I was not aware of because it was on the roof and I could not see. A gutter cleaner mentioned it, and he was not even on the roof. I was accused by Bordner/Cliff of them saying I must have done it. 1) I have never been on my roof. 2) No one else had been on my roof since installation. But somehow I magically did the damage. Cliff was belligerent on the phone and hung up on me and I never heard back from them. You can expect issues on a project this large ($150,000.00 +) but the quality of job is defined by how the company handles problems . I still have a house covered with dots, like a bingo dobber because they used a “dobber“ to cover nail holes versus a smaller “pen” as suggested in the installation guidelines provided by James Hardie. I did have a positive experience, a window shattered for no reason, and they accepted full responsibility and replaced it. Even offering to come out on a holiday to patch it during the extreme cold. I feel Rob, the current owner is a decent man. Maybe at the time he did not have the ability to fix things and make them right. They must have a financial “reserve “to resolve issues and when you have reached that amount you get kicked to the curb. I fully expect a response where I am “shamed “ and a plethora of defense tactics are used. Feel free to reach out to me directly for photos and documentation to support this review. Keep in mind when you use this company there are subcontractor issues, (they are not employed by Bordner). Employees are heavily compensated by commission, and a massive ad campaign. Do your research and document, document, document. Also do not use a company that incentivizes/ compensates for five star reviews on Google. Good luck!**** sidenote, I had squirrels chewing on my James Hardie and J H did not offer any resolution other than I needed to get rid of the squirrels. I believe Bordner did their best to help me to resolve this issue, but only offered me a bill to have them fix it. Keep that in mind with the James Hardie product. It is stunning and an upgrade to your property but squirrel damage negates all of that beauty and money. I had engineered wood siding for over 20 years with no squirrels or rodents bothering it . Not sure what the attraction of cement is to squirrels, but who knows?

Beautiful job on our siding, windows and guttering and a big thank you to Lucas and his crew who worked through difficult weather conditions. Bryan was exceptional in help with choosing the right siding, windows and guttering. Eric mastered the measuring and ordering. Mary was amazing in keeping us up to date on scheduled deliveries, work start dates and crew arrivals. I highly recommend Bordner for any home improvement.

Bordner exceeded all of my expectations! I went through four separate window quotes from different companies and all varied in pricing. Bordner was the only company who actually sat down and explained the quality of the product including the glass, and a demonstration(thanks Chad!). I felt comfortable and at ease with the entire process. 16 new windows were installed in three days! I felt am immediate difference and my house looks beautiful! Following a successful new window installation project from a couple of years ago, my wife and I reached out to Bordner again for a master bath renovation. The bath renovation went just as smoothly as the window project.Their material supplier options were not overly extensive but in our view better curated than competitors and probably contributed to a more seamless and trouble free install. Our sales rep, Jordan Johnson, was excellent and expertly laid our the pro/con of various options that enabled a more informed selection and decision on our part. When one supplier was unable to produce one of the components selected, Jordan was immediately on the issue and presented other acceptable alternatives to keep the project on track. Consistent updates and communication from Bordner were hallmarks of both the window and bath projects.Our installer, Damian Vargas, was technically skillful and was a pleasure to work with. He was very respectful of our home, meticulous in prep and clean up and very proficient in crafting a beautiful new bath area. He kept us informed of progress, offered suggestions on various ways of executing parts of the install for our consideration, and kept the project on time and budget. We would happily invite him back to our home for future projects.After 2 successful projects, we can confidently recommend the team at Bordner (especially Jordan Johnson and Damian Vargas) for remodeling needs.
