Customer reviews highlight a range of interactions, from the initial bidding process to the completion of work and post-service follow-up. Some feedback points to concerns about the quality of the work performed, with one customer alleging that the work on their roof did not match the terms of their contract. A contractor with a local presence can also have a better understanding of regional building codes and the specific weather-related challenges that affect homes in the area. However, it is always wise for local residents to thoroughly vet any contractor, regardless of their location, by checking their licensing with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board and reading a wide range of reviews to get a balanced perspective on their reliability and quality of work. Another customer’s experience revolved around an alleged leak in a skylight which they said was dismissed by the contractor as normal condensation. Due diligence is key in any home renovation project, especially when it involves a significant investment like a new roof or siding.

Predatory Bidding Practices: Another customer described their experience with a last-minute cancellation, suggesting that the company’s bidding practices were possibly predatory. This points to the importance of getting a firm, written quote.
Lack of Communication: One customer's review indicated that the contractor was unresponsive to their concerns about a potential leak, which they allegedly dismissed as "normal condensation," a claim later disputed by another company.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Did not do the work written into the contract, but you can't know that until something goes wrong. Noticed evidence of corners cut but nothing we could do anything about. Called Duron back to look at what seemed to be a leaky skylight. He said it was fine, that a little condensation is normal. Then this summer we notice a mushy spot on the roof while still within warranty period. Call Duron who refuses to so much as look at it. Claims he's "an old man and is now retired". Well, "old man", you scammed us out of thousands! We now have another company completely re-doing our roof plus repairing damages. When they removed your shingles, we took photographic evidence of your shoddy workmanship and all of your corner-cutting and subsequent damage. Took photos of the plywood that you patched in like a checkerboard instead of a complete replacement like we paid for. Took photos of the water damage and mold from leaks. Took photos of the damaged skylights that we are now replacing. Look forward to receiving these photos by certified mail.If he claims to still be in business, REPORT HIM TO THE STATE!
Oct 18, 2023 · The Saffron NurseThis contractor backed out of an awarded job based on a dubious personal story, the day before work was to begin. This is after they revised an initial low bid to a higher price that we still accepted. Likely predatory quoting and bidding practices and once realizing they will not absolutely maximize profit opportunity, will leave you high and dry. Do not trust this business.

Sep 25, 2023 · Rodger GriffithHas done a bit of work for us over the 10+ I've known Duron, and every time it's a professional, well-done job. I would recommend this local family-owned business for any roofing/siding job! Thanks!
Sep 05, 2018 · Frank EvokedWould not. Recommend this company! The roof looked just fine but then we noticed a few issues that needed to be fixed, the owner did come back out but did not fix the problems. Stay clear!
