This is an update to our initial review below posted a year ago. We are very disappointed with how JTO is handling the leak and damages to our roof due to poor workmanship and poor quality of materials they used to replace our roof. We paid over $20k to have our roof Completely replaced with a new roof, install gutters and leaf filters. It’s only been a little over a year and we’re still having the same leak in our house. Our previous house in the same neighborhood just a few blocks away had the roof replaced in 2021 by The Exterior Company and we never had any issues even after all the hurricanes since then. JTO replaced our roof in 2023 and a few weeks later the leak started. Before JTO replaced our roof we never had any history of leaks in the house or garage. It was only after JTO replaced our roof that we continuously have the same leak issues in the same area of our garage. We overlooked this because they do provide good customer service. But their mediocre quality of workmanship and poor quality materials definitely needs improvement… I put in an excellent review initially because Dustin our project manager was very helpful but he’s no longer with JTO. I don’t normally update my initial review but this is very disappointing and after several attempts to get this resolved it’s still not resolved and so I had to update my review. I will update you with this ongoing issues to help other customers and future customers see transparency.“We were looking for a roofing company that we can depend on and have a long term relationship as we buy fixer uppers every year. He is truly dedicated and passionate about his work. He goes and above beyond! We are so thankful for his expertise and for effectively leading his team to successfully complete our roof replacement. They installed beautiful new roof and gutters! Dustin kept us informed and updated the whole process. He was very patient with us in regards to our insurance coverage and financing options. He addressed all of our questions, helped us coordinate with our insurance to make sure everything is covered, helped us with our HOA, and he ensured all concerns was addressed and resolved. Such a great crew. Our neighbors remarked on how quiet they were. No loud music, etc.We had some tricky areas around our chimney but they resolved the problem spots and took tons of pictures to show the existing conditions and how the repair work was done. That was very helpful when you can’t get on the roof to see for yourself.

JTO Roofing installed a new roof just in time when I was about to be canceled by my insurance. The representative walked me through the whole process. Everyone was very professional. I don’t have any complaints about the work. Now I have a piece of mine.

Most arrogant and condescending contractor I have ever dealt with in decades of doing real estate.It's all about the money.Very pushy for you to sign on the dotted line with lots of lip service.Customer service interactions are just AWFUL.A least the roof looks good thanks to the hard working crew, but at TOP DOLLAR

We had our roof replaced by JTO back in 2021 and they were phenomenal to work with, from start to finish. Our insurance had sent out an adjuster who quickly reported that there was no damage to our roof beyond wear and tear, even though water was literally pouring into our Florida room any time it rained. Paul from JTO came out and inspected the roof and found several spots where there was obvious wind damage. JTO really went to bat for us and made the entire process with our insurance so easy for us, even though our insurance carrier took almost a full year to finally agree to cover the roof replacement. When JTO finally got the approval to start the roof replacement, their team was very efficient and quickly got the replacement completed over just a couple of days. There was a bit of a hiccup during the replacement, as a summer thunderstorm rolled in right as the team was securing a tarp over the roof, and a wind gust took the tarp off which caused a good amount of water to get into the Florida room. The team working on the roof quickly got the tarp secured, and came straight in to help get the water cleaned up, which we found to be incredibly kind, and truly above & beyond service since they absolutely could have just left it for us to deal with. There was a little bit of water damage to the ceiling afterwards, which JTO also completely fixed without even being asked. We primarily spoke with Paul, who is such a down to earth, genuinely good guy, and he made us feel reassured and at ease every step of the way. We are currently looking to (finally) switch home insurance companies, and I reached out and spoke to Paul about wind mitigation inspections to see if our roof would pass whatever the inspector looks for, and Paul enthusiastically answered every question I had; I also mentioned that a fairly large branch had come down on our roof during the most recent hurricane but doesn’t seem to have caused damage, and he told me he’ll come by next time he’s in the area just to take a quick look and make sure it’s all good. It’s really clear to me that this company and their people truly stand by their work. If you’re looking for an honest company, who will work hard to make sure you’re happy and taken care of, I cannot recommend JTO enough!!
