Based on their branding as a "Local Roofing Contractor" and "Home Improvement Contractor," Keller's Contracting appears to offer a range of services that go beyond just roofing. This suggests a versatile team capable of handling multiple aspects of a construction or renovation project. While specific details on the full scope of their offerings may be best obtained directly from the company, their business name and public information indicate a focus on several key areas. The following list outlines the types of services they are associated with based on their public profile:
- Roofing Services: As their name explicitly states, roofing is a core part of their business. This would typically include everything from minor repairs and leak fixes to complete roof replacements, installations for new construction, and routine maintenance. They would likely work with various roofing materials, such as asphalt shingles, metal roofing, and flat roofs for both residential and commercial properties.
- Home Improvement Tasks: The name "Contracting" suggests that they handle a broader array of home improvement projects. This can encompass a wide variety of tasks, potentially including siding, windows, decks, and general renovation work. A review from a customer mentions a contract detailing 11 home improvement tasks, which supports this broader scope of work.
- Project Management: As a contractor, they would be responsible for managing and overseeing home improvement projects from start to finish. This includes scheduling, coordinating with subcontractors (if any), and ensuring the work is completed according to the contract.
- Consultations and Estimates: A key part of their service would be providing initial consultations and estimates to potential clients. This process is crucial for understanding the scope of work, timelines, and costs before a project begins.
Based on the available public data, there are several key features that highlight the operational aspects of Keller's Contracting. These features are important for anyone in Pennsylvania considering their services, as they provide a snapshot of their business practices. The information, particularly from customer reviews, offers insights into their approach to projects, financial dealings, and communication.
- Contractual Agreements: Public information indicates that the company uses formal contracts to outline the scope of work, project timelines, and payment schedules. This is a standard and professional practice for home improvement projects.
- Payment Structures: A customer review details a payment schedule based on progress, although it also mentions that the contractor requested payments that were not aligned with the agreed-upon schedule. This is a critical piece of information for any potential client to consider when negotiating financial terms.
- Project Scope: The same public review mentions a contract that included 11 home improvement tasks, demonstrating that the company is willing to take on projects that are comprehensive and multi-faceted.
- Operational Challenges: Public reviews repeatedly raise concerns about project completion, timelines, and communication. Specifically, a review states that only 2 of 11 tasks were completed, and work had stopped despite 80% of the contract amount being paid. This is a significant point of consideration for anyone looking for a reliable contractor.
- External Complaints: The customer review mentions that complaints were filed with the Attorney General and the BBB (Better Business Bureau). This indicates that the company's business practices have been a cause for official concern from a customer's perspective.

DO NOT USE KELLERS CONTRACTINGMr. Keller and I signed a contract on 2/25/22 that detailed 11 home improvement tasks to be completed by April 22nd for the total amount of $41,683. The payment schedule we had agreed to was split up in quarter amounts (though he wanted half) of the total with the indicator of payment being progress of tasks. The first payment was made on 2/25/22 to get the job started. The second payment was paid on 3/10/22. In early April, Mr. Keller assured me he was more than halfway completed with his tasks as he was almost done with the “bigger tasks” and the remaining effort for him and his crew (who had not shown yet) will keep him on schedule to deliver the remaining tasks by the agreed-upon date of April 22nd. At that time, he demanded the 3rd payment of which was paid on 4/8/2022.To summarize payments and as of 8/8/2022, Mr. Keller has been paid 3 of 4 full payments and an additional $2500 of the 4th payment totaling $33,762.28 or 80% of the contracted money amount.Regarding contractual work tasks, ONLY 2 of the 11 tasks (or 18%) have been completed by Kellers Contracting and the work has come to a full stop as of 7/16/22. I've been robbed. I have filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the BBB.DO NOT USE KELLERS CONTRACTING
