Peak View Roofing Introduce
For residents of Colorado Springs, a home's roof is a crucial defense against the state’s often-challenging weather. From sudden hailstorms to heavy snowfalls, a reliable roofing contractor is a necessity. Choosing the right company means finding a team that is not only skilled but also professional, attentive to detail, and committed to a clean worksite. This article aims to provide a clear and engaging overview of Peak View Roofing, drawing on real customer reviews to offer a balanced perspective on their services. The goal is to help locals make an informed decision when it comes to entrusting their home to a roofing specialist.
Peak View Roofing is a company with a presence in Colorado Springs, aiming to provide solutions for both residential and commercial properties. The customer reviews for this company present a notable contrast in experiences, which is important for any potential client to consider. A positive review from a homeowner, the Burke Family, praises the company’s reputation and work ethic, stating that they "work hard to maintain the reputation of being the best." This positive feedback is further supported by a referral from a "trusted custom home builder friend," which speaks to the company's standing within the professional community. Another satisfied customer highlights the excellence of their project manager, Rob, and the crew, led by Martín. This review mentions that the team "did a very excellent job" and "even went above and beyond on some items that were not necessary but because of the look of the finished product they wanted to make sure it was perfect!" This dedication to perfection is a powerful endorsement of their craftsmanship. However, a contrasting review from an apartment resident tells a different story. This person experienced a lack of care during a commercial roofing project, noting that their balcony, furniture, and outdoor rug were left "covered in pieces of roofing." The review also mentions that the fan in their bathroom was broken due to a lack of protection, leading to debris falling through the vent. This experience suggests that while the company may provide great care for homeowners, the same level of attention to detail might not be consistently applied to larger, multi-unit projects.
Peak View Roofing is conveniently located at 2260 Waynoka Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80915, USA. Their central location provides easy access to the entire Colorado Springs area, making them a local option for a wide range of roofing needs. This accessibility is a benefit for homeowners and property managers who need a contractor who can respond quickly, especially after a storm. A local presence also implies a deeper understanding of the specific building codes, architectural styles, and environmental challenges of the region. This on-the-ground knowledge is crucial for providing solutions that are not just effective but also compliant and long-lasting. Their physical office location offers a tangible point of contact for clients, allowing for in-person meetings to discuss projects, review materials, and build a relationship of trust with the team.
Based on the provided information and customer reviews, Peak View Roofing appears to offer a variety of services for different types of properties.
Services offered include:
- New Roof Installation: A homeowner review explicitly mentions the quality of the new roof installation. This suggests the company is skilled in installing new roofing systems that are both aesthetically pleasing and durable.
- Residential Roofing: The positive reviews highlight their excellent work for homeowners, from project management to the crew’s craftsmanship. This focus on individual residential properties seems to be a strong suit for the company.
- Commercial Roofing: One review describes a roofing project for an apartment building, which demonstrates their experience with commercial and multi-unit properties. However, this review also points to potential issues with cleanup and property protection on such large jobs.
- Vent and Fan Repair: While not a primary service, the review from the apartment resident indicates that their work may interact with other home systems, such as bathroom fan vents. This shows a need for meticulous care to avoid collateral damage during a roofing project.
Based on the contrasting customer feedback, there are specific features and highlights that define the experience of working with Peak View Roofing.
- Reputation and Referrals: A key highlight is the company’s strong reputation, as evidenced by a referral from a "trusted custom home builder friend." This indicates a high standing within the professional construction community.
- Dedicated Project Management: The positive review praises Rob, the project manager, for being a "great" leader. Effective project management is crucial for ensuring a smooth process and clear communication with the client.
- Quality Craftsmanship: The crew, led by Martín, is commended for doing a "very excellent job" and for going "above and beyond" to ensure the final product was perfect. This dedication to quality is a significant asset.
- Lack of Consistent Care: The negative review highlights a major issue with cleanup and property protection on a large-scale project. The lack of tarping and the resulting debris on a balcony and in a bathroom points to a potential inconsistency in their standards of care across different types of jobs.
- Mixed Experience: The reviews show a clear divide between the positive experiences of homeowners and the negative experience of a resident in a multi-unit building. This is a critical point for potential customers to consider based on their specific needs.

Conclusion: Why this place is suitable for locals
For residents of Colorado Springs, the decision of which roofing contractor to hire is a crucial one that requires a balanced perspective. Peak View Roofing has received strong praise from homeowners for their professionalism, high-quality craftsmanship, and dedication to ensuring a perfect final product. The endorsement from a custom home builder and the positive feedback on their project management are strong indicators of their capabilities. However, the negative review from an apartment resident, which details significant issues with cleanup and property protection on a commercial job, highlights a potential inconsistency in their service standards. This makes Peak View Roofing a suitable choice for locals who are homeowners and can work directly with a project manager like Rob to ensure all details are handled meticulously. For those managing a larger, multi-unit property, it would be prudent to have a very detailed discussion about site protection and cleanup protocols before signing a contract. Ultimately, the company’s strengths in quality and project management for residential work make them a viable option, but potential clients should be prepared to set clear expectations based on the scope of their specific project.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I live in an apartment building where they just redid the roof. They didn’t cover my balcony with tarp or anything to protect it, so my balcony, furniture, and outdoor rug were covered in pieces of roofing. They dropped trash from the roof down into the trees by my building and left it there for us to look at out the window. They also didn’t protect the opening to the vent fan in my bathroom so tons of pieces of roofing came through the vent all over my bathroom and now the fan is broken and making a loud sound. Maybe they would provide more care if doing work for a homeowner, but I think that’s pretty poor workmanship.
Jul 09, 2025 · Laura DickesonRob was a great project manager. Martín and his crew did a very excellent job. They even went above and beyond on some items that were not necessary but because of the look of the finished product they wanted to make sure it was perfect!I asked a trusted custom home builder friend what roofing company to use, he said Peak View Roofing. Now I can say personally they work hard to maintain the reputation of being the best.Thank you!Burke Family
Jul 28, 2022 · Your NameBrent K was great to work with on a repair that was needed for our church building. He came out immediately to do a temporary repair, just to be nice, then got us scheduled for the permanent fix. The team was sent quickly and got the source of a bad leak covered. The customer service was awesome.
Mar 07, 2024 · Corina HurstSadly, one of my closet friends established this company. It was purchased following his death. It breaks my heart to see the new owners have run the name into the ground... Peak View has put numerous roofs on my home... Dealing with them following our summer hail storms has become UNBELIEVABLE! They do not return phone calls, dealing with insurance companies is all up to you! They do not even respond to the insurance company when sent several documents etc. Following several weeks (now into months) of trying to simply have a roof placed on my home, doing their job for them with my insurance company, etc. has become too much!I have decided to start this process all over again finding a new company!!!.
Sep 12, 2023 · Leslie MintzOur project manager, Dave Cain, was great to work with. We needed a new roof and were filing our first insurance claim and Dave was very kind and patient in how he sat down and explained the process and the paperwork with us. He took time to walk the roof with the adjuster and was excellent in his followup. When it was time for the work to start, the roofing crew was there on time and made pretty quick work of the installation. The same was true for the crew installing the seamless gutters. They too showed up early and had them installed in one day. When all the work was finished, Dave helped us settle things with the insurance company. We highly recommend PeakView Roofing and Dave (in particular) if you're ever in need of a new roof, repairs and/or gutters.
