The contractor's local roots suggest a focus on personalized service, which is a characteristic valued by homeowners in tight-knit coastal towns. However, the public feedback available presents a highly contradictory picture, making it crucial for potential clients to conduct thorough diligence before engaging their services.

Features / Highlights (Contrasting Customer Experiences)
The public profile of WATERWITCH ROOFING, including its principal, **Frank**, is characterized by dramatically opposing customer experiences. These contrasting reports represent the primary factual highlights regarding the company's operational style:
- **Feature 1: Promptness and Professionalism (Positive Report):**
- High-level responsiveness, with a contractor (Frank) coming the following day for an inspection request.
- Willingness to inspect complex structures, such as a **4-story, 40-foot high roof**.
- Professional communication, timely delivery of photos, and a clear quote for necessary work.
- Described as a "Great local roofer" who offers a **fair price**.
- **Feature 2: Allegations of Contract Breach and Substandard Work (Negative Report):**
- Allegations of taking a deposit for materials with no intention of following through on the contract.
- Accusations of subcontractor disputes, non-payment of workers, and equipment being pulled off the job site.
- Claims of failing to perform promised preparatory work (power-washing, scraping, priming) before application of Gaco product, resulting in the product being rolled "right over dirt and grime and rust."
- Specific claims of voiding a manufacturer's warranty by purchasing materials from other contractors rather than the manufacturer.
- Serious allegations of financial and legal issues, including the contractor being accused of leaving the roof "in worse condition than before he started," leading to new leaks and pending court action for the return of full payment.
- **Feature 3: Multiple Business Names:**
- The company is factually linked to a history of operating under various names, including **W.W. Roofing, Roof Magnificent, Waterwitch roofing, Frank Mauro Construction, Supreme Class Roofing, SC Roofing, and Waterwitch Construction**, all reportedly originating from the same 69 Waterwitch Avenue address. This multiplicity of names is a factual detail provided by a customer's public statement.

What is worth choosing (A Factual Summary)
The decision to choose a roofing contractor requires a full assessment of all available information, especially in New Jersey where reliable exterior work is paramount. What is factually available about WATERWITCH ROOFING is a mixed narrative.
**In its favor**, the business, through its principal **Frank**, has demonstrated the capability to provide prompt, professional, and detailed inspection services, even for complex residential properties (like 4-story homes) and has been described as a "Great local roofer" offering a "fair price." This suggests that for specific, smaller inspection and consultation needs, the company can deliver timely service.
**However**, the detailed public allegations of contract non-fulfillment, material sourcing issues that negate manufacturer warranties, alleged fraudulent preparatory work, and ongoing legal disputes present a significant factual risk that cannot be ignored. The public record points to serious concerns regarding the reliability and business practices of the operation at 69 Waterwitch Avenue, regardless of the business name used.
Therefore, the choice to engage WATERWITCH ROOFING should only be made after carefully considering both the speed and professionalism noted in the single positive report and the severe, multiple allegations of non-performance and financial/legal issues documented in the public record. Due diligence should include verifying current licensing, checking for litigation records under all associated business names, and scrutinizing all contractual terms before providing any deposit.

WATERWITCH ROOFING Reviews
Frank was great. Very professional, timely and gave me a fair price for the necessary work that I had him quote me. I am in the process of buying a property and wanted him to inspect it before closing. He came the following day, got on the roof (4-stories, about 40ft high) and sent pictures, and a quote to fix any necessary damage, etc. Great local roofer.
Aug 24, 2020 · Alex WolfI don’t normally write reviews because most bad experiences I’ve had were due to mis-communication or basically honest errors however this roofing contractor knew from the moment we signed the contract that he had no intention of following through with the agreement. My contract states that I would give half the money down to purchase materials and the balance due upon completion. I gave him the first ½ required and then little by little I was given every excuse imaginable why he couldn’t start the job, why he didn’t feel he needed to do all the work he promised he would do and so on. I tried very hard to deal with his stories while still trying to get at least the amount of work out of him that I had paid for. He guaranteed me he had his own workers to complete the job and that was not true, he subcontracted out the job. He said he was purchasing Gaco roofing that gave me a 30 year warranty when purchased from the manufacturer. He ended up NOT purchasing it from the manufacturer but from other contractors who had extra left over from their jobs, thus negating my manufacturer’s warranty. He claimed he power-washed, scraped and primed the roof and I have since had to pay a new roofing company to analyze the part of the roof he claimed to be completed to find out that none of that was done. in actuality, he rolled the Gaco roofing product right over dirt and grime and rust. I have 2 new leaks where I never had leaks before. His subcontractors are angry with him because he did not pay them and have since pulled all their equipment down and no one has been back on the job or in contact with me. He has taken my money and left my roof in worse condition than before he started. My attorney has sent a letter to return my full payment and I have filed with the courts and am currently awaiting a court date in March. I am doing this to prevent him from STEALING anyone else’s money. I would not contract with anyone from W.W. Roofing, Roof Magnificent, Waterwitch roofing, Frank Mauro Construction, Supreme Class Roofing, SC Roofing, Waterwitch Construction and 69 Waterwitch Roofing. As you can see he apparently keeps opening up under new business names, but they are all located at 69 Waterwitch Avenue, Highlands, NJ. BEWARE OF FRANK MAURO.
