Chicago Premier Roofing Introduce
For residents and business owners in the Illinois region, particularly within the bustling Chicago metropolitan area, choosing a roofing contractor is a decision that requires careful consideration. A roof is a significant investment and your primary defense against the city's diverse and often severe weather. Finding a company that combines expertise, reliability, and excellent customer service is paramount. This article aims to provide a clear and informative overview of Chicago Premier Roofing, a local contractor serving the community. We will explore their location, the services they offer, and key factors to consider when engaging with their team, all while maintaining a factual and professional tone.
Chicago Premier Roofing, as a local business, has the potential to be a convenient resource for homeowners and property managers. The company's work can be vital for urgent needs, such as emergency repairs after a storm, or for planned projects like a complete roof replacement. A contractor who can provide prompt service and quality workmanship is highly valued in the community. Their service is designed to address a variety of roofing needs for both residential and commercial properties, offering solutions for different types of roofs and material preferences. Understanding a contractor's strengths and limitations before beginning a project is crucial for ensuring a positive outcome.
The local nature of a company like Chicago Premier Roofing can be a significant benefit. They are familiar with the specific challenges presented by Chicago's architecture and climate, including the unique building codes and permit processes. This local knowledge can be a major advantage in project planning and execution. However, as with any service provider, customer experiences can vary, and it is important for potential clients to be fully informed. The provided customer feedback highlights a range of experiences, from a prompt and courteous service that left a client very happy, to a highly negative experience involving unresolved warranty issues and communication challenges. This serves as a vital reminder for all consumers to conduct thorough research, ask detailed questions, and ensure all agreements are in writing before work begins.
Chicago Premier Roofing is situated in a central location to serve the Chicago area. Their address is 6155 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638, USA. This placement allows the company to be accessible to a wide range of clients, from the immediate South Side neighborhoods to other parts of the city and nearby suburbs. Being located within the city allows them to respond to service calls more quickly than a company based farther away, which can be a critical factor in a roofing emergency.
For local users, the convenience of a nearby contractor cannot be overstated. When a leak appears, or a storm damages your roof, a swift response is often necessary to prevent further, more extensive damage to your property's interior. A contractor's ability to quickly dispatch a team for an initial inspection or an emergency tarping can save a property owner a significant amount of stress and money. It is this type of responsiveness that many people in the Illinois area seek when selecting a professional for their roofing needs.

Sep 28, 2024 · Walter FafaraTerrible Service, Unfulfilled Warranty, and UnprofessionalismI regret having to write this review, but my experience with Chicago Premier Roofing has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. In March 2023, I had a flat roof completed on a multifamily unit with a 10-year leak-free guarantee, which covered both labor and materials. Everything seemed fine at first, but by March 9, 2024, I started noticing water coming into two apartments on the south end of the building. I reached out to Frankie to address the issue, and he claimed the problem was with the flashing. When I asked if the flashing should have been included in the original job, Frankie confirmed it should have been and even admitted the flashing was in poor condition. His exact words were, “I don’t like to talk about other people's work. It is what it is.” However, his team did the original work, so it's hard to understand how that statement makes sense. In an effort to prevent further damage to my property, I agreed to pay Frankie to fix the flashing, even though I should have been covered under the warranty. I also repeatedly asked for a receipt and my contract, which I still have not received. This was frustrating, but I just wanted to get the issue resolved as quickly as possible.Fast forward to December 2024, when another tenant noticed water stains and cracks on her ceiling. I contacted Frankie again, and this time, Steve came out to inspect. He confirmed that the flashing was deteriorating due to tuckpointing issues—something that was never mentioned or documented before. Then, Steve proceeded to tell me how much it would cost to fix the roof, which I had to argue against, as the issue was clearly still under warranty as per my contract from March 2023.Steve told me that the flashing would be fixed that day or the next day, but I never received an update. I’ve followed up multiple times, but it seems like they are completely avoiding my calls and texts. It's clear they don’t care about honoring their work or their warranty. At this point, I wouldn't recommend Chicago Premier Roofing to anyone. They don’t stand behind their work, are unresponsive, and seem more interested in finding ways to charge more than addressing issues they should have taken care of under the original agreement. Avoid this company at all costs!
Mar 27, 2025 · Jasmine JohnsonFrankie came and assessed my garage roofing issue within the hour and sent a team to repair my roof by the end of the day. The team also did an inspection of my flat two-flat roof during the same visit. I greatly appreciate their prompt attention to this matter especially given the upcoming spring rainy season.
Apr 04, 2025 · Robert SimersFrankie and his team were incredible. They were fair, reliable and responsive. They replaced my mother’s roof which was in really bad condition. I live out of town and was so impressed with how he kept me up to date with pictures. He answered all my questions and concerns and at the end helped my 90-year old mom take a look at the final product from the outside. I’ve already recommended him to a few friends. You can’t get any better than Frankie and his team. Honest and responsive! Thank you so much Frankie!
Oct 24, 2021 · Rosy RafyUPDATE: Our HOA is STILL in litigation with this company and we will not stop until we get at least some of our $10,300 back. This company is absolutely AWFUL – use them at your own peril! Chicago Premier Roofing doesn't have a valid business license, which makes sense, given everything we've been through with them. My husband and I live in the top floor unit of a 3-unit condo building and in the spring of 2020, our HOA had multiple contractors come and take a look at our flat roof to see if it was the reason water was getting into the building during rainy weather. Frankie, owner of Chicago Premier Roofing, said our issues could be solved by putting down a new layer of roof on top of the existing one. When he came out to look at the property, we discussed what would be happening with our existing 400 square foot natural wood roof deck, as he said they would pull up the decking and then put it back down when they were done. I told him that wouldn’t be necessary as we were planning to use this opportunity to put down new composite wood decking across the entire roof. After Frankie and his team put down a new layer of roof, my husband and I had our deck contractor come out to assess the area and begin making plans to put down our new composite roof deck. During this visit, he flagged some soft spots that needed to be checked before installing heavy decking on top of them. I contacted Chicago Premier Roofing and asked Frankie to come back and take a look. It took him quite a while to come by, even though I told him we couldn’t start the work on our deck until he did. When he did finally make it over, he was very dismissive of our concerns. I explained that we couldn’t move forward with the installation of our new roof deck until the soft spots were addressed and finally asked him if a new layer on top of them would help and he said: “You want me to put down another layer on top of these? I can do that.” I thought it was strange that I had to suggest a potential fix.One of his team members finally came by to do this, and as he was leaving, we noticed he hadn’t put any of the silver protective coating over the new patches, so we asked about it and he said, “Oh, Frankie said the other contractor was going to do that.” When we told him that didn’t make any sense and that he should do the coating – just as they did with the rest of the roof – he begrudgingly went back up to the roof and put the coating down. When our deck contractor came over to install the deck, he said the soft spots were still really concerning and he couldn’t in good conscience build a deck on a roof unless he was sure the structure was sound enough to hold the weight. So, we peeled up a layer to peek at what was underneath and immediately saw a lot of moisture. Further investigation revealed LOTS of moisture and mold, as well as joists that were crumbling apart (see attached pics and videos).Bottom line, when Frankie and his team removed our deck, they should have noticed the soft spots and recommended a complete tear-off and replacement instead of putting down a new layer on top of the existing roof, which added unnecessary weight and sealed in a new layer of moisture. There were also several areas where water was pooling and standing, which should never happen on a brand-new flat roof – further indication of the shoddy job Frankie and his team did.We tried to give Frankie the chance to come and make good on our roof (even though we no longer trusted his work), but it took him forever to respond. At one point, he said he would come by on a specific day and time, but never showed up. I tried to contact him several times and he never responded. After repeated attempts, our HOA ended up paying American Superior $14,900 to tear off our entire roof and install a new one. The $10,300 we paid to Frankie was just money in the garbage. We essentially paid to have Chicago Premier Roofing put down a new roof layer that was unsafe and poorly done.
