Their work primarily focuses on the building envelope, which includes not just roofs, but also walls and windows—all the components that protect a building from the weather. The company's name, BEC, stands for 'Building Envelope Contractors,' and this specialization indicates a comprehensive approach to a building's exterior integrity. For Oregon locals, this means a contractor that doesn't just focus on one aspect of a building's protection, but rather on a holistic system. Their presence in the Portland metropolitan area positions them as a resource for property owners in a wide range of communities, from the urban core to the surrounding suburbs like Beaverton. The decision to choose a roofing partner is one that should be made with careful consideration of their expertise, accessibility, and the range of services they provide.
The importance of a well-maintained roof cannot be overstated, especially in a state like Oregon where rainfall is a constant factor. A good roofing contractor provides more than just a quick fix; they offer long-term solutions that protect your investment for years to come. For local homeowners and business owners, finding a contractor that is located within a reasonable distance is often a priority for convenience and peace of mind. Let’s take a closer look at Flynn BEC LP - Portland to understand what they bring to the table for the local community.

New Roof Installation: They likely handle the installation of new roofs for residential and commercial construction projects, working with architects and builders to ensure a proper and durable installation from the ground up.
Roof Replacement: For older buildings or roofs that have reached the end of their lifespan, roof replacement is a common service. This involves tearing off the old roof and installing a brand new system, often with updated materials and techniques.
Roof Repair: Addressing leaks, damaged shingles, and other issues is a core service. They would be equipped to handle emergency repairs and routine maintenance to extend the life of an existing roof.
Commercial Roofing: Given their background, a strong focus on commercial roofing is probable. This includes working on flat roofs, low-slope roofs, and large-scale industrial projects with a variety of materials like TPO, EPDM, and metal roofing.
Residential Roofing: They also likely serve the residential market, providing roofing services for single-family homes, townhouses, and multi-family units, using materials like asphalt shingles, cedar shakes, and tile.
Preventative Maintenance: Offering regular inspections and maintenance programs to identify potential problems before they become major issues is a valuable service for prolonging the life of a roof.

Flynn BEC LP - Portland Reviews
Today, April 15th, 2025, I got to experience firsthand the unsafe drivers the hire. I first got behind the Flynn box truck headed south through Seaside. He was doing 15 mph under the speed limit. Once we got to highway 26 going east, he proceeded to go 35 to 40 mph. Whenever I tried to pass the truck, he would veer into the other lane to prevent me from passing. I had to wait until milepost 10 when there were 2 lanes of travel in each direction. Based on other reviews here, the company must not care, which would also indicate they have poor quality work
Apr 15, 2025 · Steve DavisDriver of the white truck going from madras to Portland. Extremely dangerous driver. Cut multiple people off almost hit oncoming traffic, passed on double yellow while there was oncoming traffic. I see other people reporting the same thing on the reviews here. We also have it on dash cam. This person will kill someone or themselves! You will be held liable when someone dies.
Jun 13, 2024 · Beverly MatherWhat kind of Company fires there employee. Who told them in the Monday morning meeting witnessed by others.(yes Royce he told you) He would not be there Friday because he was attending my 2 1/2 month old Grandsons funeral. You knew it was at 1pm. And you allowed and requested Joshua Capps to fire him for no show. In an impersonal text 2 minutes before the service starts. Leaving our entire family even more upset over the actions of you both. You are sick, foulexcuses for humans. If this Company stands behind the action of these two. You DO NOT deserve to be in business. IIf Roberts actions other than going to a funeral service warranted firing. Then it could have been done on Monday(today). But no, it's not about a greiving family. It's about them. Sick, foul, heartless employees working in Management here. Great way to represent this Company. If you ever have to attend a funeral think twice before applying here. If you have lost a loved one dont do business with them. Because they could care less.Great Grandma Patti AustinPortland, Oregon
Aug 05, 2024 · Patti AustinReckless driver in company vehicle, have it on dash cam and saved. Company must not care about safety or liability of them causing an accident since there is a pattern with the other posts. Experienced this first hand on Hwy 30 when they were tailgating, speeding, and swerving. Not sure if they are this unsafe on their projects, but apparently don't care that their company name is on the side of their F150.
Mar 27, 2024 · JustinTried to hit my car. When we called them out on it the gentleman chased us down, threatened to kill my dad, and screamed racial and homophobic slurs at us. We've lived in the Hillsboro/Aloha area for many years. If I EVER have roof problems I will NEVER go to them because of this. CCB#220332. Please fire this man, I wouldnt want him near anyone's kids.
