For residents and property owners throughout Colorado, especially in communities like Aurora and the broader Denver metro area, maintaining a robust and reliable roof is essential. The unique climate of our state, characterized by intense sun exposure, heavy snowfall, and particularly volatile hailstorms, places significant demands on roofing systems. When the time comes for a roof repair, a full replacement, or dealing with the aftermath of storm damage, choosing the right roofing contractor is a crucial decision that directly impacts the long-term safety and value of your home or business. Understanding the options available and considering various aspects of a contractor's service is paramount for making an informed choice.
In the competitive landscape of local roofing services, contractors often aim to provide a range of solutions to meet diverse property needs. From initial assessments to the complexities of installation and repair, property owners seek a team that can deliver on its promises. This encompasses not only the technical proficiency of the work performed but also aspects such as project organization, clear communication, and adherence to industry standards. For those in Colorado, where weather resilience is a key factor, finding a contractor who prioritizes meticulous attention to detail and durable results is vital to protecting your investment against future elements.

Its position within a readily accessible part of Aurora means that clients can typically reach their office with ease for consultations, to discuss specific project requirements, or to review material options. While specific, detailed service lists are not extensively provided in the given information beyond "re-roofing job" and general "construction," a typical roofing contractor like Sauve Construction would generally offer a variety of services designed to address common residential and commercial roofing needs. These generally include:
- Roof Replacement: Comprehensive service involving the removal of existing roofing materials and the installation of a new roofing system. This can include various materials such as asphalt shingles, metal roofing, tile, or flat roof systems.
- Roof Repair: Addressing specific issues like leaks, missing or damaged shingles, flashing problems, and general wear and tear to extend the life of the existing roof and prevent further damage.
- Storm Damage Restoration: Specializing in the assessment and repair of roofs that have sustained damage from hail, high winds, heavy snow, or other severe weather events. This often includes assistance with insurance claims.
- Roof Inspections: Thorough evaluations of a roof's current condition to identify hidden problems, assess damage for insurance purposes, or provide proactive maintenance recommendations.
- Gutter Services: Installation, repair, and cleaning of gutter systems to ensure proper water drainage and protect the property's foundation and landscaping.
- Siding Repair and Installation: Services related to the exterior siding of a property, enhancing its protection, insulation, and curb appeal.
- General Construction/Home Repairs: Broader construction capabilities that may extend beyond just roofing, potentially encompassing other exterior or interior home improvement projects.
When selecting a roofing contractor, homeowners in Colorado consider a variety of factors. Feedback from previous customers can offer valuable insights into a company's operational strengths and potential challenges. Key aspects often highlighted by clients include:
- Organization and Process: Clients often appreciate a contractor who demonstrates an organized and "elite" approach to business, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.
- Communication: Timely and effective communication, whether through text or other channels, is highly valued, keeping clients informed about project progress, insurance processes, and any unforeseen circumstances.
- Craftsmanship and Material Quality: Assurance that the quality of materials and the skill of the installers ("craftsmanship of the carpenters") are on par with industry standards and other major companies is a significant consideration for durability and warranty.
- Insurance Claim Handling: A contractor's ability to assist with and navigate the insurance claim process, ensuring the client's interests are represented, can greatly reduce stress.
- Site Management and Cleanup: The professionalism of the crew, including their efficiency during the work and their diligence in cleaning up debris (such as nails and old materials), is an important aspect of the overall customer experience.
- Responsiveness to Issues: A company's willingness and ability to respond to and rectify any issues or concerns that arise after project completion is crucial for long-term satisfaction and trust.
- Adherence to Standards: Ensuring that installation guidelines, such as those for flashing and water barriers, are strictly followed to prevent future water damage is paramount for the integrity of the roof and the property.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I would absolutely recommend, I’ve worked with several larger companies and the way Sauve handles business is organized and elite. When people give bad reviews it’s usually due to things out of a persons control like technology , weather and unforeseen circumstances, however everything Under the control of human contact in this company is sturdy, also the craftsman ship of the carpenters is the exact same as every other major company , so there’s no difference in material quality and craftsman ship of the construction or warranties.
Sep 19, 2024 · Patryklyss HollyBe warned!!!We recently discovered water damage and mold in our home and after several professional investigations and repairs, it was discovered that Sauve incorrectly installed the flashing on our roof, which is how water was able to get into our home and cost thousands$$$ in damagesOf course they won’t respond to me when I reach out to them.
Mar 21, 2024 · Katie YimI really hate to post this review because Nick had treated use well and was clearly making an effort to give us a deal. That said it is unacceptable to string someone along and then ghost them when they want to pay you. We could have gotten this job done already.I want to be clear, all contact I have had with Nick has been positive, he was happy to answer questions and was responsive right up until a certain point. He offered to look up some code questions and tweak a couple things in the contract, repeat: HE OFFERED to do this. Then he ghosted us.Additionally it should go without saying that if you plan to sub out a job you should let the client know beforehand, rather than assuming they won't notice. He brought a different foreman while we still thought we could get insurance to pay than the one he sent afterward. It's hard to interpret that any other way than they try harder on insurance jobs than non-insurance jobs.
Jul 01, 2024 · Greg RadThis company was recommended to us by our insurance provider. They were very prompt in their response and completed the roofing job in a day. The work was inspected during and after completion, as per law and Nick was very responsive when asked questions. The price was lower than another company we were using for other work and provided the same quality. Finally, we received a veteran/law enforcement discount to offset the charge for using a credit card, which I am very happy about! I would recommend this company to all who need their roof replaced.
Feb 04, 2022 · Dana LoundersWhat a fantastic experience! We got our hail damaged roof done recently. Bradley was always on point with communications and came out to work with the insurance adjuster when they came out to assess the damage . The team worked closely with the insurance company ensuring that the costs to bring it up to code where covered. I had shingles up on the roof within a week. The installation crew was wonderful did a solid job on the installation, made all the vents look great and WOW on the clean up job! Best experience we have had working with contractors and will be calling them on all future jobs.
