T & U Roofing Introduce
When it comes to home or business maintenance in California, few tasks are as critical as roofing. The roof protects your property from the elements, and choosing the right contractor is a decision that can have long-term consequences. This process often involves researching local companies, reading reviews, and getting a sense of a company's professionalism and reliability. This article will provide an in-depth look at T & U Roofing, a roofing contractor located in Mission Hills, CA, based on available public information and customer feedback. It's designed to help local residents gain a clearer understanding of what to expect when considering this company for their roofing needs. The information provided is based on factual, publicly available data, offering a balanced perspective for users in the California region.
Finding a roofing contractor can be a daunting task, and for good reason. A roofing project is a significant investment, and the quality of the work directly impacts the safety and value of your property. Customers often prioritize a company's communication, timeliness, and cleanliness, in addition to the quality of the final product. The provided customer reviews for T & U Roofing offer some insights into these areas. One review from a customer in Burbank notes issues with loud music, a lack of cleanup, and safety concerns, including a roofing nail going through a child's shoe and a worker falling through a roof. These are serious concerns for any homeowner or property manager, and they highlight the importance of thorough vetting before hiring a contractor.
Another review points to significant issues with customer service and reliability. A client who had an appointment scheduled for 10 a.m. on a Saturday waited for over an hour and a half with their clients, but no one from the company showed up and calls went unanswered. This kind of experience can be incredibly frustrating and costly in terms of wasted time. In a competitive market like California, where many contractors are available, consistent and professional customer service is often a key differentiator. The customer's decision to call another company, which arrived within half an hour, further emphasizes the value of punctuality and communication. This feedback is a crucial piece of information for any local user researching roofing contractors in the Mission Hills area.
T & U Roofing is located at 11100 Sepulveda Blvd #528, Mission Hills, CA 91345, USA. This address places the company in the San Fernando Valley, making it accessible to a wide range of communities in the area, including Northridge, Granada Hills, and the Burbank location mentioned in one of the reviews. Being locally based in Mission Hills would suggest a familiarity with the regional climate and architectural styles, which is generally a positive for a roofing contractor. However, the importance of a company's location is often weighed against its reputation and operational reliability.
The accessibility of a business is about more than just its physical address; it's also about its responsiveness. The review from the customer who had a scheduled appointment but received no communication or show-up raises questions about the company's operational reliability. For locals in California who are often dealing with busy schedules and have many other options for professional services, a company's ability to be responsive and punctual is a non-negotiable part of the customer experience. This feedback suggests that potential clients should exercise caution and potentially look for a company with a more consistent track record of reliable communication and appointment keeping.
Based on the provided information, T & U Roofing appears to offer standard roofing contractor services, which would typically include:
Roof Installation and Replacement: The review from the customer in Burbank mentions a roof being done on their building. This indicates that they handle large-scale roofing projects, likely for multi-unit or commercial properties, in addition to residential work.
Roof Repairs: The nature of the business as a roofing contractor would suggest they handle various repair jobs, from fixing leaks to replacing damaged sections. However, the review about rain damage to multiple apartments after the roof was left open raises serious concerns about the quality and safety of their process.
Project Management: The provided information touches on how they manage a project, with one review mentioning issues with cleanup, noise, and safety protocols. These are key aspects of a contractor's service that are vital for any property owner to consider.
It is important for potential clients to consider these points, as the quality of a contractor's service extends beyond just the final roof and includes the entire process from start to finish.
The reviews provide a number of features and highlights, though they are presented as negative feedback rather than positive selling points. These are important for any user to be aware of:
Safety and Cleanup Issues: The review mentions a lack of cleanup, with "nails and debris everywhere for days," and a serious safety incident involving a worker falling through a roof. This is a critical piece of information for anyone concerned about the safety of their family and property during a roofing project.
Operational Reliability: The failure to show up for a scheduled appointment with no communication is a major concern. This points to a potential issue with scheduling, customer communication, and professional reliability.
Work Environment Concerns: The complaint about "blasted loud music all day" highlights a lack of consideration for the client and their neighbors, which can lead to friction and an unpleasant experience for those living or working nearby.
Inconsistent Business Information: The review mentioning that the "name dosent match thier phone number" is a potential red flag for a business's credibility and professional organization. It raises questions about the company's official name and how they operate.
These points are crucial for a potential client to consider when evaluating T & U Roofing as an option for their project.

In conclusion, T & U Roofing is a local roofing contractor in Mission Hills, CA, with a physical address and contact information available for public use. However, the available customer reviews raise significant concerns about their operational reliability, customer service, and job site professionalism. Issues such as missed appointments, poor cleanup, loud noise, and safety hazards, including property damage, are all highlighted in the feedback.
