Brandon came out to give us a quote to either repair or replace our roof about a year ago. He noticed that the damage had been done from prior storms in the area. He suggested going through homeowners insurance, which I had not done or even thought about. He then proceeded to do all of the necessary paperwork and meetings with our insurance adjuster, leaving me to be able to work without worrying about my family getting leaks or other roofing problems. I am driving across country all the time, and Brandon would just call me and alert me of any calls or questions I would be getting from insurance. The work was done while I was away at work, and I have not had any problems with my roof since. Thank you so much Diamond Home Remodeling for helping us, keep Brando around

Greetings, friends. I wanted to share my success in dealing with home insurance claims. This was our first insurance claim after living in Crofton for the past 23 years, so we were in unchartered waters and vulnerable to the vast amount of contractors and information on claims. We went through 4 different contractors before we found one who was amazing. This local young man (Benjamin Hankey) from Diamond Home Remodeling Inc. not only took on a year-long insurance battle and won, but he got the maximum amount and explained everything every step of the way. His company did all of the work (siding, roofing, gutters, capping, etc) and clean up and I must say it came out looking fantastic. Feel free to contact me for more detail, but certainly contact Ben if you need insurance claim help or siding/roofing. I'm sure there are plenty of other worthy contractors that fit this bill as well, I'm just sharing my story.

No docs 5/22/24OP 4/30I would not recommend this company!They owe me over $5k for damages done to my home and an incomplete job. The owner knows that BBB responses cannot be removed from their website. The BBB keeps reviews on their website for 3 years as long as they can prove the claims valid.Had I not checked with an attorney and the BBB I would have signed an agreement that I could not execute.All my issues with this company started with me simply asking for a written list with the details of what was done, prices, and materials so I could verify the work. When I posted pictures of their shotty work they added stock photos to drop them down and then mysteriously a slew of 5 star reviews appeared.Please note I am not and have not initiated any cancellation of my contract in Silver Spring, MD and hope that DHR will honor the repairs identified in addition to the required parameters around the job.1) Remove existing project manager and a new project manager be assigned for reasons noted in the email sent on 4/30/23.2) Please remove the additional charges levied by the current project manager for unauthorized visits to my property 4/12 through 4/13.3) Please send the contact information of the new project manager as soon as possible to this email address. I'll need the name, phone number and email address.4) I am requesting for the 5th time the itemized bill (identifying each individual work performed and the corresponding cost) that total the amounts DHR has cited as being owed by Tuesday, May 2, 2023 pm EST.I have been asking for an itemized bill since February 2023 and neither DHR nor it's employees have provided this detail. I believe I have been overbilled and I need to see the itemized bill in order to understand what has happened. I am not clear as to why after more than 45 days I have not received his as I have also sent an email to the company email address. Luca told me that the work would not continue on my project until DHR "received more money on the project, how much are you going to pay". He showed a snap shot on his phone from his notebook that itemized the work totaling $13,157. This is when I asked him if he could send me that snap shot, the full itemized bill and how much I already paid. He said he would but never did.I've asked the same from the current PM who also has not provided this itemization. I need to know all the work that was performed by DHR on my home and the cost for these items, due to overbilling. Unfortunately, if I am not able to receive this information as requested I would need to file a claim with the Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC).4) Per the previous email sent to the company email address no one from DHR, its subcontractors, agents or anyone operating on behalf of DHR is permitted on my property without an appointment which will be communicated in writing. An appointment is necessary so I can make the necessary accommodations.5) Remaining work to be done with written confirmed appointment.a. Replace warped capping (triangles) at the top of the garage, and main house (3 areas). Within two weeks of the installation of these items they began to pull away from my home.b. Replace siding in the back of the home.c. Replace/fix siding warping under the two windows on the front of the home (this did not happen with my old siding, only after DHR's replacement).d. Adjusted capping on the front of the home (sharp, sloppy edges, globs of caulk)e. Adjusted framing over the door in the back right of the home.f. Nail pops in the lower three rooms of the home as a result of the fired sub contractor's sloppy workmanship.g. Magnet sweep of property for nails which did not occur. We are still finding these all over our yard, in addition to cigarette butts left all over our yard.h. Luca approved this credit and I just needed to submit the receipts to him as I told him I would install them myself. Unfortunately due to recurring sickness I have not been able to address this.

Great experience with Ryan Bantum and Diamond Home Remodeling. They assessed the damage on my roof and immediately took care of helping me file a claim through insurance then handled everything from that point on. Ryan made the whole process very easy and straightforward. Great experience, I would recommend them to anyone for roof repairs/replacement and related work. They stood behind their word, even when the unforeseen happened and there was a potential increase in cost they honored their word and didn't charge me a penny more than promised. The work and the materials were both top quality. As soon as the materials arrived they set up a time to come out and replace my roof and the whole job was done in one day with no mess and no problems, just a great job and great experience overall. I would recommend Diamond Home Remodeling to anyone that needs roofing repair or work done. I'm so glad I called them for my roof issue. Ryan Bantum made this the most pleasant experience I think I've ever had with getting any type of work done on my house. He handled everything with the insurance company for me from A-Z, I only had to confirm a few details and he took care of the rest. They recommended and installed top quality shingles on the roof, replacing the entire roof (house and garage) in one day with no mess and no fuss at all. I didn't even have to be there for any of it. There was no mess, no delays, no unexpected additional surprise charges or fees and everything went just as it was promised. A very refreshing experience. Thank you!
